Great description about Rahu’s nature in Revathi! BUT the part about LSD making this life even more illusionary needs more explanation. Most think that you will see visions and get lost in a delusion if you take LSD. Of course if you take it A LOT you will lose the touch with this current time and place. But in smaller doses, LSD does not cause hallucinations. What it does is that it enhances all your sensory senses and quiets the mind. It is as if you were watching a movie on an old VHS tape and then switched it into a 4K screen. Everything becomes clearer. And since your mind quiets down, now you have the inner space to actually see, hear, smell, feel and taste what world has to offer. But since your perception of the senses becomes so acute and you have this spaciousness in your mind, life becomes “too real” to be true. The irony is that once you see life and world clearly with all the colors and forms, it appears as an illusion, something artificial. You will notice how little attention people pay to the outer world and how their minds and thoughts create a sort of a veil to blur the illusion we live in. When we truly taste how chocolate actually taste without the idea of it being something delicious, it actually taste like nothing. There is no real taste. It just appears like a mirage without no true base. Rahu in Pisces can take two routes. They can believe that this life is true and get lost in to the never ending hunger for more analytical knowledge about spirituality. Or Rahu can break the rules of those spiritual and religious teachings and explore the consciousness through psychedelics and other practices. The irony of this placement of Rahu is that it is Rahu’s own hunger for more knowledge of the unknown and forbidden that brings him to his own dissolution. Once Rahu our and the cravings dissolves when the mind becomes silent, the Veil disappears and the Maya of life is seen and understood clearly. I agree! Rahu in Revathi makes the native interested and gives the courage to explore psychedelics and shamanistic techniques. But I disagree for it being a delusion that leads the native astray. It leads them to the truth and direct experience about life being truly an illusion. That is where the real awakening starts.

This is so true, I feel like I can see both sides of the world. sometimes I don't understand which one is reality. that's so confusing. but I try to relate it everytime to make sense and surprisingly it does. I can feel it but I just stay on observe mode most of the time to understand how things work on the other side of the world. I think it did unleashed many deep secrets but I'm still observing. I don't know which career to go for, nothing really works for me. I'm totally into spirituality, I even had kundalini experience without doing meditation or guru. Venus is in Taurus and in the 4th house. It's my only planet in Kendra. I'm in my Rahu-Venus mahadasha since november. And it started immediatly with so many changes it was rediculous! I'm glad I know about astrology so I can cope with these changes and know it's all for the greater cause of you being here on earth and your goal. I broke up with my previous relationship and now I am dating someone from a completly different etnic background and different values and style then what I am used to. I moved twice (!) and I got my first full time job after graduating in social work. I work with refugees in a housing facility. It pays really well. I also started (at the same time) my own company in photography to do on the side. I am looking for a car and it's going to be such a nice car because my parents want to buy one for me. I realise I am very lucky with that. We are in march now and this all happened from the day I started Rahu-Venus mahadasha. It's so spot on, rediculous. Oh and I dyed my hair and starting to care about my looks more. Got a couple birthmarks removed in my face etc. All these things just 'scream' venus. No wonder this happens, it's crazy.

I would take a lot of pictures of myself and started to edit them creatively on programs on the internet and with paint. The nakshatra of my ascendant is 'Sashtabisha' (something like that), rahu is the co-ruler of that. Plus it's about photography and editing. But I also got interested in spirituality, astrology, tarot, ghosts and all those things. Now it's just spirituality and astrology.

I would say, as someone with Rahu in Revati on his Ascendant, that this is a good post, not a great post. Rahu has always been a spiritual influence for me. He was always prominent at pivotal points in my life when I chose spiritual paths. For me, Rahu has been insatiable desire but in the direction of Moksha, not in the direction of "the world" much at all. I am presently in my Rahu Mahadasha. I live reclusively, and love being alone. Pisces Ascendants are natural recluses, 12th House. Interestingly, the place where I was born, which was right on the harbor front 66 years ago, is now under the Atlantic Ocean as the harbor was later expanded to accommodate larger ocean going vessels. There was 1 thing I didn't understand from the video...KRS, are you saying that holistic practitioners/energy healers are doing the divergent path similar to those who take LSD and become pilots or creative artists by not finding enlightenment but rather doing those other things instead?
