How to assess and perform spring maintenance on an overwintered bee hive

This video aims to show newer beekeepers how to approach and assess their winter hives coming into the spring. We're locaetd in SE Indiana, so timing and techniques could vary between me and you. The season is moving along fast here. Today, after going through one of my apiaries, I also sorted equipment and prepared all of my swarm traps to hang in trees.
