This is the first time I am listening that clay tiled roof is costlier than RCC roof....🤦 Clay tiled roof for non-locals in a farm house is definitely not safe, cause one can easily remove/break them.....it needs periodic maintenance.....Hence, RCC roof (Higher in budget) / Puff sheet / Zinc sheet is better. But, its a fantastic house with decent partition....the only thing that is offset is the cost of construction.

Thank you for your comment. The clay tiled roof is costlier because of heavy gauge metal with additional 8 pillars used for roof and support and also double tiles. Am sure you must have calculated basic tiles which normally used in villages. And yes, it is not safe as you mentioned in non-local case, but in our case it's not the case as we don't have any valuables and we use this house once in a week or once in two weeks. Moreover, we have built a good Rapo with the Neighbours and no to worry about the safety.

@@arunkumar233642 Sir, I totally want to agree with you....but, I have constructed both double tiled roof and RCC roof of almost similar dimension. And definitely the RCC roof would cost tripple the cost of tiled roof. I AM A CIVIL ENGINEER WHO HAS DONE ARCHITECTURE COURSE. No, worries...as I said it's a beautiful farm house.
