It's a Canadian film called Passchendaele. It's not so much a full on war movie, but it's very good!

Passendale is a small village in Belgium. the battle of Passchendaele is one the most known and bloodiest and sadest moments in WWI. over a half million soldiers lost their life in 3 months. standing in mud till their knees and shot, rotten and run over by others using them as a standing. injured soldiers left on the field eaten by rats. After 100 years farmers still found unexploided devices and granates. they just put them aside the road to be collect by a divison from the army. everybody just can take them but we know better. small story, some workers from abroad found a device and tried to dismantle. yep , the bomb went off killing both of them. that war is still making casulties. even after all this time ; www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26654314
