My Honda Talon Engine was toast. (i'm told due to a mistake made during it's build at Honda) Just got the White KRX, 120 miles happy so far. Thanks guys.

Thanks for sharing! Did you drop the Talon or do you still have it?

Deranged Off-Road Gone, was a good machine, however I did not like the way Honda was handling the situation. Engine was toast, Honda was going to make me wait until August before anything could be done. Dealership was very helpful, but their hands were also tied. I did like the talon a lot
@DerangedOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
That's too bad. Hopefully the KRX will do you right. They are a stout machine.

This will be fun to follow. I know it's going to be a challenge to be completely honest and unbiased when comparing other machines to your own, but I think you guys can do it. Pretty sure I know who it will be most difficult for, but that's okay too. lol Nice work guys.

Not sure what air pressure you are running on the liberties. I have found 6psi in the dunes works great. Maybe just a little bit more for everything else. But seems like with less pressure it rides better. Great video.

I think this ride they are running 10-12. Normally in the sand I air down to 8, but it compeltly skipped my mind this time.

I'll be looking forward to your opinions on each other's machines. I have the Talon X 2 seater and have to agree that its not great in sand... even in manual mode. I don't think the i4wd is ideal in sand. The DCT with it's up and down shifting is a learning curve all the way around and something to get used to for sure, but a great all around SXS.

Note to self skip the Kawasaki, yeah I don’t know? I have a mountain bike is faster than the Kawasaki really not impressed seems about 20 hp under where it should be.... my problem is where I ride I’m going to be above 6000-7500 feet and all these machines are going to suffer horsepowerI bet any amount of money Kawasaki is going to increase the horsepower it really only lags on long hills and in the sand and who cares , exactly. Hearing the motor being pulled down in RPMs is an indication of being under powered... other than that Kawasaki‘s are rocksolid bulletproof machines I’d never be scared of buying one...
@DerangedOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
It could use 20 more hp for sure, but I’m going to tell you that most NA machines will not keep up in the trails and whoops area or rocks. This thing takes that stuff like a beast. Probably one of most comfortable machines out of the box as well for ride quality.
@AmericanSurvival0014 жыл бұрын
Deranged Off-Road Yes I agree it absolutely excels over the XRC in smoothness, I’ve owned lots of Kawasaki’s bikes and never been disappointed with any of I’m just hating, just worried it’s under powered about 6000 feet, power to weight they all will suffer, and I don’t want to get into the reliability expense with turbos , as I know a couple years from now I have to dig up two or three grand, in maintenance

Wow Garrett. I though my springs were sagged out on my krx. Yours are whoooooooooped ! There is no more adjustments to your springs. Lift kit will not fix your spring sag and will not stop you from bottoming out. Go with Shock Therapy get better springs, more lift and much better ride. Also need to bitch with Kawasaki!

Interesting... I haven't bottomed out my KRX at all and I run it pretty darn hard. I run the shocks on minus 2 or minus 3 clicks up front (from stock) which I think is around +9 from full soft (out of 24 total, but stock was 12). For the rear, I run +2 clicks from full soft. Stock in the rear is +6. BTW where are you in Arizona? Msg me on IG if you like, "RobGoffroad" -- that reminds me, I haven't posted anything yet. :)
