KRX1000 Roof Fans DIY

Made my own roof fan assembly.
Materials Used
3/8 Plywood - on hand
1" Aluminum angle - on hand ($20 @ Lowes for 8' piece)
2 14" fans $35 each
Set of 4 bar clamps $19
2 Speed controls $19 each
Wire 12 and 14 AWG on hand
Electrical connectors on hand
1/4" loom, on hand
Piece of plexiglass scrap
Fasteners $7
Total is approximately $157
It would be more if you bought the spools of wire and the connector packages.
I did put the potentiometer knobs on after...

Great Job!! Is there enough space on top of the fans for them to exhaust out?

Hey "Grumpy" good to hear from you. I believe there will be adequat space above. All sides are open and there's about 2" of clearence.

Question. Why did you use 14 inch and not 16's.

Basically just for room. Room between the fans for controls, room fore and aft for the brakets the way I wanted to use them.

Nice, how many amps does each 14 inch fan draw?

These are 90W fans. I measured them a 14V and it was about 10 amps (each). Thanks for watching.

What was the measurement of wood

Dimensions are 15.5" wide, then length varies 37.25" in the front, 40.5" in the back. Thickness is 1/2".
