I liked your new piece. It had a very Mike Oldfieldish feel to it. Maybe one day you'll have an on-board recording studio, like Dave Gilmour's Astoria, but on a narrow boat.

At 9:56 an obstruction on the towpath gave me a bit of a puzzle when cycling this stretch.

The new microphone is great. With headphones on and eyes closed you can easily locate sounds. Where is it positioned on the boat? The new tune is cool and I like it's new title as well. Finally, I find all the different bridge designs and use of construction materials fascinating. It's like a tour through British bridge engineering history.

Absolutely, I hated those locks, and many of them are dangerous for solo boaters. The single ladder is close to the bottom gate which means I can't leave the boat in gear up at the front. So it's very hard to control the boat whilst filling the lock.

@@NarrowboatJourneys they have a terrific forward pull. I nearly went through one and that was with 2 of us.

They do, and because the locks are quite deep my ropes weren't long enough to reach the bollards! Had to tie to the ladder instead. I don't normally have that problem.

Unfortunately my recording set up is not ideal for recording guitar. I can do it but it's a hassle. Ideally I want to be able to record electronic and guitar. Maybe one day...
