Not being able to talk normally is a bit odd, its a weird mix of ASMR mic but then deafening jump scares tossed in randomly all while fumbling around in the dark. It's a cool game but definitely needs something that feels like a threat in the game, something that chases you if you're in an area too long

Needs the sound of someone walking up behind you, and if you ignore it and just stand there it gets right up beside you and starts breathing in your ear or something. Make it barely visible on the corner of the screen so you force fight or flight and people either run or turn towards it.

Good looking game. Needs something to cause more tension though - make one of the maniquens chase you through the forest and blink out of existence via flashlight flicker before it touches you - even if it only gets new players thats something thats needed - Or even teleporting around the map when the light goes out - Go into a house -> light flickers -> Youre out front again (Or vice versa, try to avoid the house end up inside looking out the front window so you know you cant run from it)

I think there was something wrong with the mic in this. You're supposed to get a live volume read in the bottom right that tells you if you're getting close to being too loud, and that volume reading wasn't showing up. I think John accidentally cheated by trying to fix his 'sharp s' problem. XD Oops. The detection of 'p's and 's's is something the devs have already said they're working on fixing, though. Worth revisiting the game later.
