Iam from Singapore. The little alley ways is really exciting to the eyes. If i was walking on my own i would turn back at certain areas as it looks like a dead end but no your video shows that it goes on and on until it comes to a main road. Great. The pinoys are a fun people always smiling and enjoying life in good or bad times.

I grew up in Singapore when they still had Kampongs. I used to go down there all the time and play with the malaysian boys in the kampong. we didn't speak the same language, but they were fun to play with. they made a wooden bicycle out of a soda box and we used to glide them down the hills. Do you know where Vanda road and Bukit tima is? Kind of near 6th ave and bukit tima? that is where I used to live 4 vanda avenue.

We need someone like Lee kuan yew in the philippines ASAP.. Our people are really tired and abused for so long now.. endless Corruption, civil wars , drugs , kidnapping, cyber crime child selling , murder is a joke in the Philippines, a persons life is only worth $100 bucks , some will do it just for beers or $50 us or less😢 Most filipinos are brainwash by their families to only care for the whole family but not the country.. We weren’t aleays like that , before the colonization .. We were known by the chinese and many nations as very honest, warriors and holds high integrity. What happen to us? Pls give us a person like lee kuan yew in the philippines.. Our people are still sufferring.

Thank you for another insightful and revealing documentary uncovering daily life in a Philippines slum. Always heart-warming to witness the happy, friendly and welcoming squatters living amidst such dirt, filth and squalor in the Philippines slums. It was my inspiration to create Drew's Travels, documenting the lives of these less fortunate yet heart-warming communities, thriving in this diverse and beautiful country that is the Philippines.

i finally get to see what your setup looks like. i know it's pretty common to have a selfie stick for this kind of recording but i've seen some other ways which are my preferred method if i were to do this as well. i prefer a body cam or a helmet cam as these are more likely avoid drawing too much attention. it seems like you don't mind it.

I love the Philippines! It looks a lot like cities in Brazil in the past, where we had few crimes, there wasn't much drug trafficking, there were many children playing in the streets... but today with left-wing politicians and their weak laws, they place servants from 10 years old onwards. trafficking, it's very sad but the government doesn't do anything... the reason I want to go to the Philippines one day is not the beautiful women, but the quality of life that reminds me of my childhood

What wonderfully placid people, no one challenges you. Nobody demands "wot you doing 'ear mate? No snatching your equipment and running off with it. And dispite the simple living conditions....not a scrap of paper is to be seen blowing about the streets. What a contrast to the" informal settlements" in Africa.

Hi whats your opinion of Cavite? There are more and more of us foreign guys/girls moving there. I like the village life and small busy town/city but i also like to go out to a bar/nightlife occasionally, is there anything like that i have never seen it -cheers;)
@KryptoTrekker2 жыл бұрын
I actually prefer Cavite over living in Manila because of its more relaxed atmosphere, less traffic, and of course near the beaches. As far as nightlife, it's nothing like Makati or Malate or any go those main nightlife areas. Cavite night spots are pretty spread out, but they are here. The nightlife here has more of the local vibes, hardly any foreigners unless you are at a major tourist area like Tagaytay. Enjoy and I recommend visiting a few times to see if you like it.
