Exploring the Islamic City of Marawi in Lanao del Sur Mindanao Philippines. This is considered a red zone area, yes... a no go zone. Although I did feel safe, not really sure if I was actually safe. Being in Marawi City for a day, the people were super nice, and it honestly felt just like any other city that I've been to in the Philippines, other than the fact that there is police and military everywhere, would that make you feel safe? Visiting the Islamic City of Marawi did feel like I was in a different world, and that was the exciting part of it. I wanted to experience something new, something different, a different culture, and Marawi City fulfilled what I was looking for. So do I recommend it? Being that this area is considered a NO TRAVEL area for tourists, I don't know what to say. From my experience, it was a place that I would love to go back too, and I'm sure I will in the near future. If you do decide to visit, and you are not sure what to do, contact the tourism office directly, and they can take care of a tour from you. Did I go that route? No I didn't, I actually had a very difficult time communicating with the tourism office, so I explored with a local, and it was a great experience. Enjoy the video! As I am uploading this, I just got news that an American KZbinr Elliot Eastman was kidnapped in Sibuco Town in Zamboanga del Norte. They took him from his house in front of his wife, and forced him on a speed boat headed to the high seas, most likely Basilan or Jolo Sulu. I hope he makes it ok, just be careful out there guys. It's news like this that give Mindanao a bad rap, but if you talk to the locals here, they do not condone this behavior, and there are very nice people everywhere in Mindanao. Danger lurks everywhere, not just in southern Philippines.

A sad news for Mindanao, I'm from Samar I wish to visit Mindanao to meet the woman I had courted my fellow churchmate, I never met her in person.

We locals won't even dare go in that place coz we know that belongs to the muslims. But you are brave enough to make it.

Your filming is very consistent unlike other walk tour vloggers sometimes they have a shaky filming. I think because sometimes they are passing through a ravaged and unparalleled road

Cant understand why your government puts up with this, or the phillipine people

If religious people are more "enlightened" then why are so many violent sociopaths? IS in Phillipines is crazy. 😵

Just don't. Especially if you are a foreigner. Someone already kidnapped, he’s on the news few days ago, he is an American.

Great analysis, thank you! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?

@KifPH just wants to know if it is safe to visit those areas as a foreigner, though I visited Manila, Romblon Island, etc, in the past. I am a part-time traveller with a different name.
@KifPH4 күн бұрын
@@canutemathias6779 Cotabato City is relatively safe, the government, police, and the army is well established here. The place don't get much foreigners because of the tourist warnings from other countries who likely generalized the whole western mindanao as "dangerous". but I've seen British peeps living in here. The city has everything you need, convenience stores, fast foods, parks, malls and night markets and a mix of local Muslim Moro foods. As well as the biggest mosque in the entire country, the Grand Mosque.

Now do Cotabato City, capital of the new BARMM (region).

I really didn't feel all that safe in Cebu. Would not go to Mindanao. Read the State Department warnings. Unfortunately, most of the PH looks like a slum. Once was enough for me!
