Take a walk with me around unseen parts of Baseco Port Area Manila. One can get lost when walking through one of the biggest urban poor communities in the Philippines, and that I easily did =). Get a reality check and witness the unfiltered life from Baseco Port Area Manila Philippines. From shipyard to a thriving and diverse community, it never gets old here! Enjoy! *Use headphones for 3D audio and light rain sounds. Check out Tondo Treks: www.youtube.com/@TondoTreks

Unbelievable, I don't understand why there's no effort to keep garbage out of the water. There's no effort to keep there area clean it makes no sense to me.

@@moderndaydrifter4672probably because the people are humbled and happy outward towards foreigners. But there are reasons behind these traits and u just mentioned a dew of them.

Best? How so? How is their public education through high school? What is their Healthcare like? What about criminal activity? Government corruption? Racism? Where does the Phils rank?

If it's the best country, why do so many of you want to immigrate to the United States. If the Philippines was on our border, your country would be empty. I used to be an Immigration Examiner and Inspector. Overall, the people can be nice but the extreme corruption from the top to the bottom that probably stems from hundreds of years under the Spanish had much to do with it. Look at the Spanish speaking countries in the Americas.

Indeed these areas look very run down and poor. However, people seem happy and upbeat which is heart warming. The government needs to build and manage necessary infrastructures for these folks . Also, free health care and other basic services should be provided to these people.

You know what would be some good footage. Spend some time with the kids that jump off bridges into the Pasig River. When I spent some time in the Philippines I came across these kids that were jumping off bridges for fun. I got so good pics and footage. Just a thought.
