I was part of the very first wave in March 2020...but because of a clog in the system...my EDD was only approved an entire month later....so mine only showed up in April. Then disappeared 😕 for 5 months do to the glitch in the system until it was fixed. The system has tripped me up already 3 times. So the true numbers are probably way higher than "officially" shown. Especially in California with crazy governor. He's hot. But it's been pretty crazy here.

Romney is wrong. Our national debt is about 28 trillion dollars. China accounts for only 1.07 trillion dollars. The amount of debt funded by China has been decreasing. Our total foreign debt is 6.8 trillion dollars. One half of our debt is from excess social security and pension funds, more money coming in than payments going out. Regular working class people are suffering. Even the 1.9 trillion proposed plan is short of what's needed. There should be recurring monthly checks of $2000 for at least a few months. The Federal Reserve has said many times that there is not enough money velocity in the economy and Congress should go very big on stimulus, targeting those making $65000 a year or less because they are more likely to spend it. Put money in regular people's hands and our economy will boom. We need to do the other things too. Small businesses need help. There needs to be a surge on covid vaccine distribution monies. Schools need money to safely reopen. The eviction crisis needs to be addressed. A freeze only kicks the can down the road. Perhaps Congress could instruct the federal reserve to pay one year of all rent and mortgage payments at their current rate, and do it off the debt books. The Fed has already given out (loaned) 7 trillion dollars to corporations, banks, stocks and bonds. Plus the Fed gave our banks another trillion in the two months before the pandemic in the repo loan crisis. Congress has doled out 4 trillion dollars. That is all equal to about $33000 to every American. Combining stimulus and unemployment money the people got about $3000 of that $33000. Get the virus under control and give the people money and our economy will spin up.
