Someone who has truly built her career on hard work and discipline. Most young women who have a modeling opportunity at a young age like she did don't have the work ethic she had and aren't mature enough to manage themselves to fulfill the responsibilities that come with the opportunity. She really is a self made person.
@AskSydneyLipton8 жыл бұрын
Wow, she's not someone you thing about a lot lol. But now I see she was really smart when she was younger. I'm 19 and just now becoming an adult more mentally. I like how she said there was no one she could call for money or whatever if she got into trouble, so the option was "don't get into trouble". At 15 years old, that was a very smart and mature move Krysten.

she became smart by life experiences, if she had not experienced those problems; she would have not been able to cope with those situations and people helped her to understand the profession she chose. She didn't just learn it by herself......but yeah at 15 that was quite risky....i guess her parents trusted her.

So impressed. What a world to be thrust into. She was in a mall with her mom when she was discovered. So many life lessons as she was working and learning to be a professional. She’s very quick-minded. She appears extremely adaptive. And she became such a great actress. I still love her role as Chloe in “Don’t Trust The B----- In Apt 23.” So different from “Jessica Jones”! Her true personality is so different from Jessica Jones'. She must be a crazy good actor
@lonerider684 жыл бұрын
In the show, JJ occasionally pretends to be a bubbly/cheerful girl on the phone or in person during her investigations, but the voice/personality Jessica Jones uses is basically Krysten Ritter actual voice/personality. How's that for Inception... she acts as a dark, brooding, tortured investigator who occasionally acts a happy/cheerful person to do her investigations.

I've seen lots of interviewers on KZbin these days. They interject "Yah," and "Uh-huh" just enough to make it look like they're listening, but really, their minds are at work coming up with their next clever question, a question that interrupts the mental flow of the person they're interviewing, and doesn't really build on whatever comment Krysten just made, but rather, turns the attention to the guy giving the interview "Isn't he sharp? Isn't he smarter than other people that interviewed Krysten."" There's a way to conduct an interview in which the interviewer feeds questions that build on what the interviewee just said. It's make the interviewee shine, and create a real dialog between the two people on stage, rather than "Aren't I clever?" Admitted, his style is much better than being clueless and asking dumb questions.
@lm14394 жыл бұрын
Well put. This was my issue with Sean Evans on Hot Ones - his questions don't really build a conversation.

Love her so much! She is such a wonderful human being, seriously. Actually her and I share something in common: we both come from small towns. I think people who grow up in smaller rural towns tend to be more level-headed and wholesome compared to those in urban environments. People who grow up in large cities usually experience so much in their lives, which forces them to grow up faster and become more jaded or cynical. Small towns can be more wholesome, neighborly environments where everyone knows you. I think that's why Krysten seems like such a well-rounded, humble person. If she had grown up in NYC, she'd be way edgier as a person lol.

did not know she was a model at a early age. Originally I heard she was just a background extra and eventually made it as a principal actor... so much for that inspiring story I guess.
@sparklemotion10188 жыл бұрын
+xii22loop The stories that background actors tell each other (about themselves and about others) are 99% bullshit. It really is depressing. Once, some idiot told me that Meryl Streep started as an extra, and she was "discovered" when a director noticed how beautifully she was reacting and featured her in a silent close-up. Details, like the name of the director, the name of the film, and some context re: when or where this happened are missing from the story because none of this actually happened. Thanks to imdb and the internet in general, it's easy to call people out for repeating stories that just aren't true.
