I've been looking at the Maxim for months because I have a glock collection, but conflicting reviews of magazine compatibility have put me off of it so far. Thank you for showing in detail why some work and some don't! For anyone who doesn't want to pay for the overpriced Krytac mags, VFC/Elite Force and KJW/Novritsch brand glock mags do not have those little tabs on the back and should fit without modification, while WE/Armor Works drum mags DO have the tab.

Yah man, not sure why they designed it that way but for that case I would recommend modifying the grip, just use a file and file it off it will work just fine too

Incredible timing. Had this in my check out cart and fell asleep debating which package to buy. Woke up to this video and, yeah, that hop up needs to be improved when they release the white version that they typically do. Will buy then. Little stuff matters and how it passed QC is surprising. Reminds me of the ICS Challenger whose safety switch easily slips due to a weak spring. Great review as always, 4uad team!

Haha thanks man, the hop up issue can be easily fixed by adding on a bit of lock tie to the adjustment wheel than problem solved. If you want the gun just get it hahaha, and have some fun with it

Hi quad! Honestly I only watched the video because it's good for your channel. Yes I appreciate the look, I like unique guns but I will not buy this pistol. Maybe you didn't even realize but from what I've seen so far the tracer is a rebranded acetech with a different thread to make sure you buy them via Krytac. The optic cutout could also be RMR compatible and Krytac could sell adapters for everything else. The magwell tab is also just Krytac dickery, there's no valid reason not to make them compatible. This is why I refuse to buy Krytac, if they want to distinguish themselves they should take the money they spend on creating the incompatibilities (in an attempt to lock you in their world) and make their products better, they are only average anyway.

WE/CG DE50 L6 is a good replica, but the inner barrel is garbage, bucking is also better to replace. ML crazy jet 138mm + MR hop/Autobot bucking 2021 ver. and you are ready to use 0.4g+ bbs. DMR range and accuracy. 6.02 ZCI precision barrel is good too.

I did end up getting one of these because I'm a huge sucker for sci-fi guns. And I am happy with it. Especially the package that comes with all the accessories comes with a great quality carrying case. Krytac knows how to drip. But I would love to know your upgrade ideas for the hopup. I'm also wondering about switching the inner barrel for a longer one to take advantage of the suppressor extension. I'm wondering if it would wiggle around since the suppressor area is hollow.

I think the barrel would stay in place just fine, if you are not using the integrated tracer unit, you can swap to longer inner barrels and if you get the hop up contact fixed this thing is laser :D

Good video, actually i bought this beauty and i really like it. I even connected it to hpa to test. It works great. The issue that i have now is the broken bb load nozzle. I didnt find anything on any stock. The loading nozzle unit looks a lot with umarex version of g17. I would appreciate if you can confirm this. I need to fix the toy.

In my VFC Glock 17 I am using an extended G&G Co2 mag. With rapid shooting at room temperature the shooting power starts a 1.00 J, after a few round it is at 1.10 J and the last bbs have 0.7J. Do you have an idea how to get this more consistent?

When Liquid gas transform into gas the temperature drop would effect the output consistency, so the quickest way to make it consistent is to turn your glock into HPA platform, since it uses high pressure air instead of gas. If you use gas as the power, inconsistent output will always happens.

@@4UADSmartAirsoft I am using it as a secondary and therefore not very often, so an hpa tank, line and regulator would be way to much stuff for the pistol. I thought the CO2 catridge might get empty in the end and thats the reason the power drops.

I wouldn’t say it’s garbage, the performance was still quite better than some other guns, I thinks it’s the hop up and mag compatibility that needed some improvements, other than that it’s not a terrible gun.
