VLOG: Mommy Problems! | Kryz Uy

This vlog was filmed with little to no sleep at all... so be warned 😅
Baby Scottie is now on this 4th month which means all the laughs and giggles but also... the dreaded sleep regression is here! 😱 We’re trying to cope as best we can. On the worst nights, he wakes up every 30 mins to an hour and has to be carried to sleep the whole time. It’s a whole process of him suddenly waking up, us scrambling to soothe him, rocking him back to sleep while he cries and cries, until eventually he falls back asleep and we try our best not to move a muscle lol. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been so hard on all of us. Fear not though, I’ve called for back up! You’ll see me do a quick meet with Ria of @himbing.ph ( / himbing.ph ) , a sleep consultant who wants to help us fix Scott's sleep. Fingers crossed!
I’m also showing you the progress of Scott’s Nursery Room! We have shelves, people! So happy with how I designed it because I feel like it can really transition well with age- even when Scott is much older. It took us a while to get this done because we weren’t too happy with how they initially turned out- but more on that when I do the nursery tour. For now, a look into some of his cabinets! I’m showing you some of the products that Scott is currently using for his skin, his diapers, and even the products we really use to clean his baby things. It’s a lot, and I’ll put links down below to where you can buy them, in case you’re wondering.

Saw your future nursery room...🤗You may want to consider those child locks for the cabinets/drawers because for sure once he starts to crawl, stand up or walk he will open those stuff. It will prevent mess and for safety purposes, too. Just an idea...😊

This made me hug my dog!! Recently had twins and our dog also acts this way, whenever we talk to the babies he comes over and competes for attention. We love him just as much, he doesn't understand yet. He was depressed in the beginning, always stayed under the couch even though we made efforts calling him and making him feel included in everything. He is our eldest. So we made sure we still gave him his playtime, we spend time with him and just him. It's true we shouldn't judge Kryz because we don't know everything and that push even though it wasn't gentle, it was more like she was surprised Skybear got so near without her noticing, was it uncomfortable? Honestly, a bit. As an animal advocate I can see why it made some viewers sad for Skybear. But as a mom, I also understand her reaction. Much love to this lovely family!

Kryzzzie, I ThNk it’s when there’s accumulation of poop and gas he wouldn’t tolerate the discomfort and wouldn’t sleep. Try to massage the tummy clockwise with oil. Rub your palms to produce heat. Then try to turn off lights by 8 pm and reduce stimulation by 5 pm. Better to direct latch when making him sleep. Hopefully it helps. Another point Kryz, familiarise yourself with the sounds he creates when he cries when he poops, when he is sleepy, when he is hungry, when he has pain, or when the sleeping time passed already. It can give you some hints when you need to cradle/ carry him or not.

I completely understand why you had to push skysky bear away from scottie at that time. Babies at this age tend to put their fist in their mouth. You patted sky bear after that which was totally fine. I am in the same situation cause we have a dog with us at home. I can sense how he’d love to play with our baby but just not this time as the baby is still very sensitive and we have to try our best to keep them away from bacteria :)

Hi Kryz. For a regular sleep schedule, read the book Babywise. It recommends to schedule feedings at the same time daily, every 4 hours. A friend of mine recommended this and after 2 months, my baby started to have a regular sleep cycle. So starting around her 2nd or 3rd month, we were able to sleep well at night na.

Try using essential oil to help Scottie sleep! Works wonder for me and my baby! My boy is turning 4mos this coming Oct24 and he sleeps through the night. I breastfeed him also and we co-sleep so no more waking up at night!

@kryzzie you have to be emotionally strong and ready when you are sleep training, if you need some changes on how you your husband and scottie sleep situation. (Like you always said in you videos "no sleep last night" "pray that it will not happen again" )you know Don't feel bad your not doing it wrong. Of your not training him now his going to be like that til later age. I sleep trained my son when he was 4 months also I got it 1 week only. Since then he sleeps on his room by himself then I followed his training on how often he asked for his fed. Good luck! It will be life changing and for scottie as well.

In my experience, sleep training is not necessary. Lalo na kung hayaan daw umiyak ang bata para matuto matulog magisa. Even adults don't sleep for 8 hours straight every night and we wake up due to several reasons. Just pick up and cuddle. Babies need their Moms to feel secured. ❤️

Our babies have the same age. I have two girls and Based on my observation to them about sleeping is that if they sleep too much during day time they weren't able to sleep properly during night time. My 4 month old took her nap for 30 to 1 hour only during day time and I have no prob to her during night time. I'm not an expert but it may help Scottie during night time of you lessen his nap time
