He just seemed like a particular bad example of the "angsty preteen" archetype... His constant attempts at looking mature got annoying fast, too. He only existed to get an actually good character killed and maybe pander to insane people. (You know who I'm talking about. They're usually middle-aged men.) And no, just because you're voiced by Megumi Ogata will not make me forgive you. He sounds hella good in Japanese, though. The geeking in particular sounds really convincing! Well, since he exists, I can at least joke about him looking weirdly similar to Makoto Naegi! Both seem to be simped for by insane people.
