I have loved Phil Collins ALL of my life. He was my first crush as I was a HUGE Genesis fan. I went to The University of Texas. I tried, every chance I got, to meet him. I think he would be one of the most interesting people to talk to over dinner. I, did, get to see him in Dublin Ireland (my home). His 16yo son played drums. He played some Genesis music. I was in heaven. My husband got tickets to see Genesis, here in Dublin, but then we were hit with COVID and the concert cancelled. I comb over all of his music w and wo Genesis. Lyrically, the most amazing band (along with U2). I hope I get to see Phil Collins with Michael Rutherford and Tony Banks. It will remain top of my list. If Phil ever sees this, I want to say “Thank You”. It is bc of their music that I am alive. Their music got me through the most difficult of times. Much ❤❤❤❤❤ to all of you, and your son. He has your talent! You must be proud

I was there not long after this was announced, and there was one item in the long barracks museum then that was credited to Phillip Collins. I wondered how many people would see that and know that it was THIS Phil Collins! (Note, in my photo of this item, a Mexican short sword, the donor card spells his first name Phillip, but I see it with one "L" elsewhere and I believe Philip is correct.)
