The built quality of yezdi/jawa bikes is a deal breaker. Over the time Himalayan has become a much more polished product ,built for low down torque to climb hills and go off-roads in which it Excels. Anyone looking for speed and acceleration buy a Dominar 400 instead.

I always dreamt of buying a Himalayan for almost 3 years, but couldn't due to financial issues. Bhai specs are the same for Yezdi. Same long travel suspension. Same wheel size. Plus Yezdi 11 kgs lighter hai toh kichad vagra mai kum dhasegi. Ha low end grunt kum hai but KTM adventure jaise clutch slip karke aram se offroad kar sakte hai. Kaafi capable offroader hai Yezdi. Jyada power ke wajha se offroad mai Yezdi hi fast hai.

Yezdi engine produces more horses and it's quicker...but...long strokes are 💪 for offroading...adds more torque at low rpms due to that the tyre don't skid... Where as yezdi tyre can skid... But himalayan climbs more grippy and quiet nicely... Its the advantage of long stroke engine.

Facing lots of service issues in yazdi and jawa, long waiting for parts and no skilled technicians at service center.. you should visit 2-3 times to resolved small issue.... very few service center available... and most of the time parts shortage at service center..

May be u should get ur research done yezdi also makes the same torque only the thing is it kicks in late after 3.5k rpm so u just have to down shift and use a clucth a lot that's it and what is the use of so much torque in RE still in acceleration and top end can't stand with yezdi and majority of your ride will be on road not i agree low endr torque in himalayn even on the 3rd gear u don't have to down shift bike runs smoothly without jitter but in yezdi u just have to down shift every bike has a different character but it does the job same

Looks like the yezdi has never seen a tail light in a race. I went to see scrambler in the YEZDI showroom as I was interested but they did not have the model . The Adventure was on display. Boy oh boy when I just sat on that bike, I felt like a road KING. Then I went to the RE showroom and saw the Himalayan, did not get that feeling much of a KING. Since then the Yezdi adventure has been on my mind.

RE is just selling products instead of focusing on issues their customers are facing . Some face issues just after they get the brand new bike even after services their issues persists. Himalyan is not a bad product it's just that RE should make it better or atleast solve the issues first.

But Men know Himalayan is The Godfather in these sequence of bikes...This is not about 100-200 metres race. ..Himalayan is a feel ....you will feel (as The king on Indian roads) Himalayan at least 200km to 500km per day .

I think this is an unnecessary competition of two different bikes. Yezdi/Jawa bikes are performance bikes whilst Royal Enfield bikes are endurance, comfort and stability bikes. The HP of Yezdi is much higher than RE hence the extra speed. If you compare cost of ownership, service network and transfer of Bikes from one generation to another (Father to Son) then Jawa or Yezdi can never beat Royal Enfield. So difference between Race Horse and a Real Lion is very open.

lol, Yezdi is less cheaper than the Elephant and less maintenance cost it gives. I know dark truth of Royal Enfield that no one gonna tell you, I am a service manager of RE kolkata branch , I rode two of this bikes, I can say Yezdi adventure is 70% better than RE Himalayan !

Who will understand that Royal Enfield ARE SLOW AND HEAVY MOTORCYCLES. They are for the show, for rich urban youth who wants to bragg on an "old fashion" motorcycles. The Himalayan was sold too fast because Bajaj was selling its Dominar. That's why Himalayan had so many defects. Himal is not a off road bike, that's so true that RE changed its looks and transform it into the Scram, a urban "off road" for the show.

In case you never driver yezdi adventure.. The bike has been tuned perfectly for offroad also.. 80 percent of the torque you Wil get it within 4000 rpm... And yeah yezdi has better suspension and seat than Himalayan

1980 : Yezdi 250 smokes Bullet 350 2022: Yezdi adventure smokes Himalayan 400. Time changes, class doesn’t ( NO offense to Himalayan as a bike I have taken it to Ladakh and it’s beautiful but then Yezdi is a better bike all around)

Experience I was the first Himalaya batch owner and believe me, i have faced worst ever days of my life as a motorcycle owner Himalayan was shit in first batch. wasted my 60% time on RE service centers due to breakdown (Self alternator issue) mileage was 20-22 and then I sold that and shifted to again my fav brand Yamaha . got FZ250 and still 50k odo done not a single breakdown. yamaha is king 👑 now next bike in my group best is Hero impulse, that's vfm bike , yes now my next bike i eyed on will be from KTM probably adv series
