I suppose in an effort to balance games and also add variety, shotguns have taken the "close range" role. But you're absolutely correct, it's been dramatized to such a degree that people don't realize the effective range of a shotgun is actually very far, even with buck shot, let alone slugs.

In Rainbow Six Siege, the way shotguns work is that when aiming down sights, one pellet always shoots towards the exact spot where the reticle is. Maybe it works the same in Breakpoint?

Willy, the thing to remember about the KSG is that each shotgun shell is loaded individually. So, with a standard KSG you’re loading 12-14 shotgun shells...one at a time. It takes a while. Lol Also, a realistic pellet spread on a shotgun, with no choke, firing 00 buckshot would only be a few inches at about 7 yards and about 40 inches at 25 yards.

Absolutely best behemoth take down I've seen yet was done by officerlacking he used cloaking spray , walked up to behemoth threw all c4 on , and walked to a safe distance and detonated . One shot one kill.

Alrighty, DO SHOTGUNS! Okay, select Panther class (for the technique), use Cold Blooded for health regen for first perk, Ballistic for range, second perk, and whatever ya want for third perk--probably max ammo, Thin Shadow, Sixth Sense, etc., etc.. And probably pick some "fast reload" clothes to help out.

FYI, you've got a pretty serious choke on both those KSG's so no it will not spread out until like 40-50 yards. All those pellets will take out ONE bogey only. Also only a fool would try to shoot down a Helicopter from that distance. A better load out would have been MK-14 as your primary for mid to long range engagements, and the KSG for CQC which it will dominate and shred your foes body armour an all. I dont know if they have different ammo available for the shotguns. But slugs or Sabot rounds would do more damage to a chopper at distance. But the shot gun is still not the weapon of choice for that kind of engagement. Its a people stopper... Up close n personal.

Do the song of revolution side mission for the outcast, and the 2 follow up. The first one is a full stealth. If done you get the 516 assault rifle, i love that gun and those missions. And do a review of the gun. If you do i will like all of your vids no matter what

Anthony Corley I think they do sometimes. Not sure if it’s a glitch or they’re reinforcements. Although I do like that enemies/loot boxes will respawn even after you clear a base and loot everything, but the loot will be different from the original.

Instead of watching other peoples gameplay for this game, it's just a bunch of idiots showing beta footage making the game seem like it's still super broken. While Breakpoint isn't perfect, I am having fun with it. It seems that if you hate on this game, the more thumbs up you can get. That's KZbin today. At least WillyB is showing the fun of the game. They delayed Watch Dogs Legion because Ubi is responding to the haters. Most of the haters haven't played Breakpoint...
