I accidentally trimmed my dogs nail back way too far into the quick. All I had was antiseptic liquid called Nu-skin. It has a brush like nail polish. It dries similar to nail polish. But let's wounds breathe to heal. And keeps the dirt out. It worked great. I checked it every day. And if I thought it needed more I'd brush another coat on it. Just thought I'd pass that info along. Didn't take long to heal either. And my dog didn't mess with it.

Shannon, go buy some paint brushes and acrylic paints and paint pictures on the rocks and sell them or put them around trees to pretty up the place. Paint a round one like a lady bug. Or paint daisies and sunflowers on some. Let's see the creative Shannon come to life.

If you use your tractor to turn the piles of straw and poop occasionally, it will help it to break down faster by adding oxygen to the pile. If you can add some green matter, long grass etc., that would be even better for making compost.

I agree! It doesn’t matter that she has Daisy, Duke and Earl to keep an eye on, she’s come into the true Queen Mama Goat that she is, and rules her larger domain. Not intimidated at all by the rest of the goats, which is just so lovely to see! She’s so lovely, as is her sister Oreo, (who I am praying will be able to come home to Chad’s before she has her babies).🙏🙏🙏

I teach my dogs that “hurry up” means “pee” and “right there” means poo!! Years ago I read a book called “No Bad Dogs”.. I don’t remember the author… but she was great with positive reinforcement. Bruno is growing like a little weed!! I hope Herc heals up quickly!!

Wonderful video. All the animals are growing well and enjoying the sunny day. You two are the best animal parents I’ve ever seen. Herc will heal up fine. My lab came running up onto the deck and she caught a back nail between the deck boards (which are close together) and the same thing happened. Within a week it wasn’t tender anymore and she was walking on it fine. Plus you two are good at making boo-boo’s feel better. ❤❤

Shanon you can go ahead and transplant the Daffodils when they finish flowering. It gives them time to get their roots and then when fall comes they will have the energy to set so you get flowers in the spring. I do it all the time and 90% of them will flower next spring. When you transplant them give them fertilizer. You know bury some of that goat poop hay in the whole with them. lol Whatever you do, do not trim the leaves while they are green. Do not mow them down while they are green. wait until they turn brown to trim them or in your case you can leave them as they are in the grass so it's not a big deal. Coghill got a bunch of Daff's from a lady who wanted to get rid of some as she was overgrown. They went and dug a ton of them up while flowering and in bud. Got them home and transplanted them and they came up a week or so ago and are flowering. Whenever you plant bulbs always put some fertilizer in the hole with the bulb and a little water if soil is dry. Continue to give some water over the next couple weeks till the roots have a chance to establish themselves. then let nature take its course. My grandmother taught me everything about plants, gardens, landscaping and hard scaping. Never cut the green leaves because that is when the plant is setting bulb for the next season.
