Reminds me of the unicorn ARAM game I had years ago with a Malph and Ali on opposite teams building full tank. After 30 minutes of both teams acing each other and an essential stalemate, one challenged the other to a 1v1, winner takes all. It took 2.5 minutes for the Malph to narrowly lose but we all just made a circle around them and watched, cheering them on and giving terrible advice until we gave Ali's team the win at the end. Seems silly to say but I'll never forget it and it makes me smile whenever I think about it 🙂

Long time back I was in ranked, playing top lane (can't remember who I was playing), and I was matched into a Trundle who had trouble connecting to the game at the start. By the time he gets back I'm Lv.7 to his Lv.1 (this was before remaking/early FF if it isn't obvious by now) and I told the dude in /all chat, "Hey man tell you what. I'll back up, let you catch up in levels, and only fight you when we're the same level or you start attacking me, deal?" He was super grateful and my team actually flamed me for it, lol, but he caught up and we had about as fair a match up as the circumstance was going to give us. My team won the game and he honored me afterwards. I miss being able to honor opponents, honestly.
