that's great. i love hearing that. but do have both the british and american versions of every beatle album? do you have the mono releases which are often a little different than the stereo versions? i had every mono and stereo album and the american as well as the british versions. i had every compilation album, as well as picture and color discs and the "High Fidelity" releases. i had imported beatle albums from a dozen different countries, including japan, canada, italy, germany, venezuala, mexico and india. i also had beatle singles and picture sleeves. magical mystery tour was originally released as a double EP. i have that. i have the original american version of let it be with the gatefold opening and the RED APPLE on the label. i had a 7 album collection called "the beatles box" which few people are even aware of. i had over 50 beatles albums all told and a over 500 album music collection. i love talking about and listening to GOOD MUSIC and the beatles.

I grew up in Seoul till I was 15 and discovered the Beatles thru a friend when was in middle school. They broke up 50 years ago but have somehow managed to triple the amount of albums sold by the Rolling Stones who have never broken up. So I laugh whenever I hear someone ask who's better, the Stones or the Beatles. The Beatles cannot be compared to any other pop/rock artists, they're in a league of their own.

The Beatles Hey Jude, Let it Be, Yesterday. They were all amazing songs. Literal works of art never forgotten. But their body of work plus each Beatles member solo work is immense. So many songs and each one a classic. Most of them masterpieces. I implore the 2 girls and anyone their age to look up and listen to more Beatles songs. And then watch the hours fly by because once you start listening you won't want to stop.

There is none even close to them. ...

I believe they were the first Rock musicians to receive such an honor. As a matter of fact, some of the stuffier older recipients objected to them getting MBE’s because they didn’t have to fight in a war or do anything else of that nature to be honored. They failed to realize that The Beatles probably did more to sustain the British economy than anyone else, especially during the time period they were together as a band.

I remember my literature teacher, who was an older woman, over heard some girls freaking out over Justin Beiber (~2011) and told us how she was a major fan of the Beatles. She told us how parents of that time were totally against them because they looked like ruffians with their hair touching their necks and singing about love all the time. And that when she went to their concert, fan girls would pretend to faint just so paramedic people on site would carry them to the medic tent which was pass the stage. Then would wake up and try to jump up on stage to try to hug them.
@MsAppassionata

Many girls actually did faint though. They would work themselves up into a frenzy, scream their heads off, wet their seats, and then pass out. Lol. There has NEVER been a reaction like that to any other band or solo performer before or since then. They didn’t call it Beatlemania for nothing. Trust me. I was alive then and can remember, very clearly, just how crazy it was.

You ladies should watch their very first movie that came out in 1964, when they were very very popular. It's called "A Hard Day's Night" that contains lots of their songs (or portions of them), up to that time. It's mainly a day in the life of the Beatles as they travel on a train to London to do a live TV performance for all of Britain. You may not realize it but they had a great sense of humor that comes out in this movie. And since you understand English so well, you'll be able to follow along and enjoy it. They made several more movies, but start with this one. Incidentally, the movie title is also the title of one of their most popular songs too!

A better explanation for them would have been, if you think America loving BTS now is great, it was definitely greater when the Beatles showed up to America.

You should checkout the 1st ever Worldwide Satellite Broadcast in 1967, it featured The Beatles performing a song specifically written for it, called (All You Need Is Love). I was lucky enough to watch it when it was aired, though in B/W.

You should introduce these young ladies to the films, (A Hard Days Night & Help) from the `60`s. It would give a greater insight to their lives at their height, vis a vis (the female fans). Also, the wonderfully fun side of these Liverpool lads. Always good to see their music passing down to the younger generations.

Even though it is over 50 years since The Beatles, there are literally hundreds of Beatles tribute bands. No other band has more than a few. Go to any of the The Beatles tribute shows which are always sold out, and everyone in the audience (ages 8 - 80) knows every word to every song! No band will ever approach the impact they had not only on music, but the entire world!!!

Please react to the rock band "The Who" in the future! I recommend showing "My Generation" (live at Monterey Pop Festival), "A Quick One/ While He's Away" (live at The Rolling Stones Rock n Roll Circus), "See Me, Feel Me / Listening To You" (live at Woodstock), "Won't Get Fooled Again" (live at Shepperton Studios), and "Who Are You" (Promo Music Video). Show these to your Korean viewers!

Capitol Records - the Beatles' USA label - needed to print soooo many Beatles records that they hired other labels' record plants for days per week, for months at a time. Some artists were resentful of this - "I can't release MY song because the Beatles have taken all printing presses for their records." This lasted into 1965.
