One of my gripes with the song, he doesn't match the first singers energy when he begins singing. The song would've been better if he matched her energy with the low voice/emo vibe (whatever lol) and then got louder like he did in the pre chorus (think it's a pre chorus) and then continued exactly how they did when they both started singing the chorus. I think that would've built up more tension, but instead it kinda feels like he released a lot of the tension when he began his verse. This is just my opinion tho and the song is much better than Thick Of It.
