As a South African, people would ship in the Prime drinks and oversell them to prices similar to those shown on Ebay. Kids in schools would flock to the one guy that had it and they would charge like R100 (5$) for a SIP of this. And now also because Prime is now available at our local retailer Checkers, people are purposely not buying them as a sign of 'patriotism', without even trying the product.

The only reason I got to try Lemon Lime & Tropical Punch is because someone bought me them. The Prime tracker app said yesterday that an Asda near me had tons of Prime Energy as of 1m ago, got there in 10 minutes and it was all gone. I just refuse to pay £10+ for a bottle as I’m a 28 year old man who has bills to pay. Got an addiction to Gatorade anyway, so naturally I’d rather drink Prime. But it’s hard for a pimp out here.

Prime recently came to south africa , and I was disappointed to say the least lol. It was R40 which is about $2.2 is ridiculous for a 500ml drink in my country. And when I tasted it , it was ridiculously sweet even though it has "2g" of sugar in it. It tastes like it has allot of artificial sugar in it. Honestly I expected allot more for the hype and for the price . A redeeming quality however is the bottle tho , it has a really good quality bottle and wrapping and just feels good in your hand even if you are sweating it wont slip easily because of the type of almost rubbery plastic they use. To sum it all up , I just expected more to he honest and the price is ridiculous.

In South Africa people we're selling these for R1000 which is equivalent to about $70 a unit. Just before it was officially launched by one of the big retailers in the country at R40 a bottle instead which is $2 a bottle now. It actually tastes good. Tropical punch is the best flavour.
