As a German living in Germany I am not butthurt about what happened, because we cannot change it anymore and there is no benefit to having any vengeful thoughts. I even went so far, refere to it in an (almost distasteful) humorous way. But to say, it was fully justified, is a bit to much. Even major Allied leaders had their doubts about it. HiiighAsAKite It is a tower for holding fuel. There are two tanks. The "water tower" tank and another ball-like tank on the ground. One holds liquid oxygen and the other holds kerosene. The tanks are on opposite sides of the launch tower to prevent them from mixing until they are about to leave the rocket and are ignited. The fuel is pumped from the two tanks into separate fuel tanks in the rocket about 15-30mins before launch to prevent any chance of it being mixed or ignited before intended.
