In our Monday Night newscast we start off with headlines above the clouds in Hokkaido, Japan as we continue our series on tourism both to and from Japan. In our first block of news, we take a look at one of the top events of the year the, MINA Green Gala, as they recognize some of the top environmentalists making a difference in the Mariana Islands. In Cops and Courts, Police think they have solved the recent theft at a Saipan Laundromat and we take you to a bail hearing held this morning for a local resident accused of selling stolen computers.
In our second block of news we head to Farm Tomita in Furano, Japan, and show you one of the most photographed places in all of Hokkaido, a lavender field where they make essential oil and ice cream. Back on Saipan we go into the blue with a Japanese tourist visiting the Mariana Islands and find out what she likes and wants to see more of in her visit to the islands. In Sports it's the International Day of University Sport.
