Excellent tutorial! I had to laugh at the comments asking for a list of materials! You're looking at them!! This is a cute, easy project and something women will use instead of leaving in a drawer. I've made them in a variety of sizes using a variety of fabrics, everything from fancy brocades and satins to 100% cotton. Fabulous hint about the openings for turning the circles!

Wow I really enjoyed this tutorial and cannot wait to get this done. I searched for a jewelry pouch and watched a couple others but I like yours because number one I don't have to leave the circle open for turning. Number two I like the way you put that piece of foam in the center. I think I may add a little loop there as a ring holder on that circle. A friend of mine is doing a cruise so I am making this as part of her birthday present to take on the cruise. I've never seen your tutorials before but I have now subscribed so that I can see more of them.

I started making these in 1994 from a pattern I found in a craft magazine. I love your idea of making the center slash to turn it! I always struggle with trying to get the opening on the outer edge of the circle stitched neatly. Game changer!! Thank you!!

I happen to need four birthday gifts, for people who I would spend a bundle on if I had a bundle to spend, and of course I am a little short of money right now. These will make great gifts and no one will know they were inexpensive to create!

I finally found the PDF instruction for this project. You sure don't make it "easy"! The instructions don't contain precise measurements for the pattern pieces...just a 1" square for a reference. I finally took a guess at it and made one. It turned out great, no thanks to you. Consider putting actual measurements on your PDF's instead of a breadcrumb trail.

The slit in the lining fabric of the outer circle that was used to insert the foam pad is encased between the inner and outer circles when you attach the inner circle by attaching it by stitching the inner circle (through all layers around the foam liner) before stitching the "spokes" that create the little pockets.
