You can use this pattern and make it shorter for a shorter doll. I would try it out of a cheap fabric first so you know if you need to enlarge the leg opening.

I had never heard it called "sew on the flat," but that's also what I do with doll clothes collars. I "sew on the flat" for doll clothes casings as well.

It would be helpful to let us know how to prepare the mat (it looks like you a tacky roll next to the machine that should be placed on the SNC matt). Even though you have autoblade what were your other settings i.e., cut speed, half cut on or off (i think off) etc. I own this machine and even though it is auto blade you still have other settings that need to be set. Thank you for the tips and video. I know it is a long processing making these videos. So I do appreciate it. Please don't take this comments as being negative. TY

You could just pin a pattern to fabric and hand cut it… you don’t need al that fancy stuff
