A tip in the extra capacity water tank: Drill 4 holes, 2 on top of each other about 2 inches apart. Then weld a stainless pipe right through each side. That allows airflow through the pipe and act as a mini heat exchanger and help to reduce water temp by contact area with the outer surface of the stainless pipe. It will flow cool air automatically due to convection. And reduce tank temp without any pump or fan. You can easily add extra 2 pipes or more and monitor the situation. In colder weather you simply plug the ends of the pipe with a rubber grommet each side to keep engine on temp and remove grommets in hotter weather. As a make a plan wanna be racer from the 70's we never had all the equipment available today and had to be very creative..... Just a thought for you to mull over... Keep on keeping on Heads up Eyes open No fear
@johnsnow13552 жыл бұрын
Derek's idea of two heater cores with a fan on it was interesting.
@KCadbyRacing2 жыл бұрын
The tank is aluminum so it would be easy to add/weld some tubes in it👍
@CC-mb8fi2 жыл бұрын
@Mike yes I would say nothing smaller than say 15 mm or so 1 inch is 25mm If you can get aluminium piping it would be easy to weld to the tank If the tank is stainless steel, use stainless pipes If aluminium tank, use aluminium pipes We used heat exchangers all the time in the chemical plants Larger dia pipes obviously, but it greatly increases your surface area exposed to cooling air You really only making an air to air inter cooler in its simplest form Cost efficient, easy and effective

Hey Kevin! Big fan here!!! I saw you mention it was difficult moving stuff in and out the trailer. I habe a simpler way but it will require you to buy some new, plastic shelves. But you get plastic shelves, put your merch on all the shelves. Then wjen you have an event to go to, wrap the entire shelf with shipping grade cling wrap. Wrap the whole shelf and everything inside it. Then you can move the whole shelf in and out the trailer quick and easy. Plastic shelves are much lighter to move. Hope this helps!
