all ksr trainers are from Microsoft ,good
@KSRDatavizon Жыл бұрын
Hi Lakshmi Narayana, we have only 2 trainers from Microsoft Santosh and Uma. Mr. Mahesh previously worked with Cargill, Novozymes and MicroLabs . Mr. koti worked with AT&T, Nutanix, HSBC and now he was director in analytics department for one of the famous bank ( HSBC). Mrs Jenny worked with Amazon, IBM, ABB. Mr. Krishna ( Snowflake ) worked with Robert Bosch and he was relocating to USA very soon .. Mr. Mohamad ( snowflake ) he was worked with Mecafee.. Similarly we have couple of other trainers working for corporate trainings. You may watching only powerbi videos and these 2 people are frequently taking the youtube sessions it’s might be the reason you are thinking all our trainers from Microsoft… However we are hiring more trainers as we are expanding the organization, if any one interested on teaching please approach us

In pie chart where you have told that the category is subdivided into the region and its showing the sales category wise not region wise. But we can figure out on top of pie chart that each region is showing the percentage sales.
@KSRDatavizon2 ай бұрын
It seems you're describing a pie chart where sales data is being presented category-wise but visually annotated or grouped by region, possibly with percentages indicating the regional sales share. This scenario can arise when you're trying to present both categorical and regional data simultaneously. Here’s how I interpret the situation and explanation for clarity: What's Happening in the Pie Chart: Primary Data Breakdown (Category-wise): The main division in the pie chart is by sales categories (e.g., Electronics, Furniture, Office Supplies). Each segment in the pie chart represents the total sales for each category, regardless of the region. Regional Context on Top: Even though the pie chart is breaking down data category-wise, percentages on top of the chart (or additional visual clues) show regional sales distribution. These percentages may represent the share of sales from each region across all categories (e.g., 50% of total sales from the North region, 30% from the West). How This Works Visually: The pie chart itself is not splitting by region-it's focused on category-wise sales. However, on top of the pie chart, you see regional percentage annotations, giving you a sense of how different regions contribute to overall sales. Why This Might Be Confusing: Mixing Two Dimensions (Category and Region): It can be a bit confusing if both category and regional data are shown together without clear distinction. While the chart shows categories, the percentages might make it look like it’s splitting by region. Visual Design: If the chart does not explicitly show which percentage belongs to which region, it can seem like the pie chart is trying to represent both region and category at once, leading to potential misinterpretation. Example to Visualize: Imagine a pie chart with three slices representing Furniture, Electronics, and Office Supplies. Above the chart, you see regional percentages: North: 50% (meaning 50% of all sales across all categories came from the North region) West: 30% South: 20% Although the chart is category-wise, the top annotations are giving you regional context.

When we want to compare Current quarter sale with next Quarter sale --> next quarter sales = calculate([Total Sales], nextquarter(Date_TB[Date])) QoQ growth % = divide([Total Sales] - [next quarter sales]),[next quarter sales]) When we want to compare Current day sale with next day sale --> next day sales = calculate([Total Sales], nextday(Date_TB[Date])) QoQ growth % = divide([Total Sales] - [next day sales]),[next day sales])

Calculating Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) and Day-over-Day (DoD) Growth Rates in Power BI: Understanding the Formulas: The provided DAX formulas effectively calculate QoQ and DoD growth rates using the CALCULATE, NEXTQUARTER, and NEXTDAY functions. Here's a breakdown of how they work: QoQ Growth Rate: [next quarter sales]: This calculated column uses CALCULATE to calculate the total sales for the next quarter based on the Date_TB[Date] column. QoQ growth %: This calculated column calculates the percentage change in total sales between the current quarter and the next quarter using the DIVIDE function. DoD Growth Rate: [next day sales]: This calculated column uses CALCULATE to calculate the total sales for the next day based on the Date_TB[Date] column. QoQ growth %: This calculated column calculates the percentage change in total sales between the current day and the next day using the DIVIDE function. Key Points: Correctness: The formulas are accurate and provide the desired QoQ and DoD growth rates. Flexibility: These formulas can be adapted to different scenarios by modifying the [Total Sales] measure or the date-related functions. Contextual Awareness: The CALCULATE function ensures that the calculations are performed in the appropriate context, considering any filters or slicers applied to the data. Additional Considerations: Data Quality: Ensure that your data is clean and accurate, especially the date column, to obtain reliable results. Date Format: Verify that the Date_TB[Date] column is formatted as a date. Measure Definition: If [Total Sales] is a calculated measure, ensure that it is defined correctly and includes the appropriate filters or calculations. Example: Assuming you have a table named Sales with columns Date, Product, and Sales Amount, you can create the following calculated columns to calculate QoQ and DoD growth rates: Code snippet next quarter sales = CALCULATE([Total Sales], NEXTQUARTER(Sales[Date])) QoQ growth % = DIVIDE([Total Sales] - [next quarter sales], [next quarter sales]) next day sales = CALCULATE([Total Sales], NEXTDAY(Sales[Date])) DoD growth % = DIVIDE([Total Sales] - [next day sales], [next day sales]) Use code with caution. By using these formulas, you can effectively analyze the growth trends of your sales data at both the quarter and day levels.
