@@annemoses9694 they still performe but not together anymore alan williams was winning in 2022 in high court the name of the group etc. he lifes now in australia with his wife cristina. he moved their. because his daughter kimberley etc are living in australia. John mick etc. where not agree so decided to go in high court but alan was winning this case after 50 years performing and working together. how sad. the other members are living in london. they are using theire own names alan gives his last concert with the rubettes in november in belgium i believe. he is 75 years old. ennough is enough. you can find a lot over the rubettes on you tube Google instagram etc. i believe john richardson lives in london with his family. sad because john worked more then 50 years with alan.

Now they are in 2 differents groups both named Rubettes, Alan has his band with new musicians and John and Mick (who left Alan in 2018) have their band with Bill and a new singer. Both are touring in Europe. Tony retired a long time ago.

the only song that has made it to the américa of the rubettes is Sugar baby love why just this song . I'm convinced that someone didn't want the rubettes here in américa sa could you be Paul Da Vinci . If the rubelles would have arrived here américa all dirty suitcase full drugs all crooker as certain group they would have been very popular they were too clean .A chance that there is Internet for me to listen to them. Hi there ! Paul only sang Sugar Baby Love and You Could Have Told Me on their first record Wear It's 'At and he never was a member of the original group because the group had been formed after the recording sessions and Paul didn't want to be a member of a group at that time. Alan sang their second success in Europe "Tonight" which has been my favourite for a long time. Check their discography on Wikipedia, especially the french one (wikipedia.org) which is the most complete. They Still played live in Europe (France, UK, Germany...) till 2017 then they splitted. I shot one of their last concerts in 2016, you can find many videos of this 2016 venue on my KZbin page: kzbin.infovideos look for "THE RUBETTES LIVE... France 08 30 2016" don't hesitate to scroll to find them. There are many Facebook fanpages in France and Europe dedicated to the various lineups of the group, groups should I say. Mainly due to the departures of John who quit the group several times.
