he was definitely neglected by fantagio but i think the things that have happened even in the past few days have really shown that he had no desire to leave astro as a group, even if he left fantagio. first and foremost the members never unfollowed each other on social media, which is usually the first thing that happens in this situation. then a few days ago, obros posted a picture of him on instagram in which they mentioned he "loves astro more than anything." in both of his recent public appearances (seoul fashion week and music bank) he is very clearly wearing his astro friendship ring, and when he performed with haww on music bank he was wearing his aroha in-ear. i'm not holding out hope that he'll ever rejoin astro but do think he's trying to tell people that leaving the group, at least, wasn't what he wanted.

I totally support Rocky's decision! He's too talented and will succeed in whatever he decides to do! I wish Moonbin had done the same and had had proper time to rest and take care of his health, including mental health. He deserved all the best. He worked really hard for the group and consequently for the agency. After watching several videos of the group, IMHO Moonbin was the glue that kept them together. He was warm, friendly, always hugging and comforting another member, always not afraid to express his feelings (like when he wrote on his cell phone that he loved EW or when he, on stage, shouted to EW and the other members that he loved them). It's hard for me to think they will ever be able to get together again, except, of course, for some contractual reasons. Rest in Awesome, Moonbin! Way to go, Rocky! You both did great!!

I predict after Moonbin departure each member of Astro will be quitting, one of the reason Moonbin got into depression is due to Fantagio, so many years with them and he didn’t see a future I’m so sorry he didn’t choose to do as Rocky. Honestly, Rocky always had the most passion for Astro, and I 100% believe he wanted to stay with them as a group but simply couldn't keep working under Fantagio - they've treated him so poorly over the years (no promotions/mishandling his dating announcement/not letting him perform for long periods of time/giving waaaay more attention to the BinSan subunit), and he and Binnie have been in the company longer than ALL the staff (including the CEO), so I bet he feels like there's nobody in charge who's fighting his corner. Some idols are allowed to leave a label but still promote with the group, but Fantagio stated that wasn't possible in their explanation for his leaving, which is why I think working with Astro under a different company was maybe Rocky's original plan. Not to mention Fantagio have just begun promotions for their new 8-member boygroup. That will be their main focus going forward, with Astro probably only getting subunit/individual schedules. Fantagio has always sucked at promoting more than one group at a time (see what happened to HelloVenus after WekiMeki debuted). Rocky was already getting almost no attention/promotion from FanMu before Lun8, so he probably realised that the company were going to keep on ignoring him. And he's a performer, he thrives on the stage/being active in the industry. Hopefully his new label will allow him the creative freedom that Fantagio didn't. I'm going to miss OT6 with all my heart, but I can't wait to see Rocky soar into success under better management. 💜

He did his best as a rapper, although he always wanted to sing. it was already obvious from some time ago he wanted to compose and be much more involved in the production process as well as to become a singer (quite obvious with Let's breathe album). If one followed Rocky closely one could see how much he needed to express his identity through whatever he did and had a larger vision than other ASTRO members (while Jinjin thought I’d be nice to make the 20th place in Melon Chart, Rocky said “Why not the first?” Thats how confident he was about ASTRO’s talent). They were never gonna let him be a soloist at Fantagio, other wise he would have stayed. There were obviously some conversations between Fantagio and Rocky before he took the final decision to leave. He was clearly not satisfied with what they offered (could be a money issue also). I truly admire his self confidence, how he realizes his worth and chooses his own wellbeing before others. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to create his own content, people with low self esteem will always criticize self confident people. He would still be at Fantagio if they had given him what he wanted. It's only their loss, tho, not ours :) AROHA will always be happy to see our boys shine. Looking at his recent schedules and sns appearances it looks more like Fantagio didn't let him be in the group if he left the agency hence why the leaving the agency and staying in the group thing didn't work. Even in the articles after the 4 renewing Fantagio already hinted about exclusivity to their agency influencing what will happen to the group. It's also unsure to what extend Fantagio even made an effort to keep him after completely mismanaging the controversy.

It was obvious to some fans that everything in Astro was all about chaun eun woo. and other members didn't get half the attention eun woo got yet he's not the best dancer or the best singer. I think binnie felt it as well as I read somewhere there was a lot of rivalry going on between members where they felt ignored. I was a big fan of Rocky and Moonbin and Rockys letter to binnie after his death says it all.Since Moonbins gone Eunwoo is now Korea's ambassador for travel and has attended many events but the other members seem to have gone off the radar..Binnie was a big loss to Astro and it proved how everyone loved him. Eunwoo was influential enough to change their agents to represent them and he could convinced other members to leave with him when they got the opportunity to leave. I am sure everyone would have gladly left Fantagio with him. Either F have offered more money and convinced Eunwoo to continue with them. This was a bad choice made by the members. Rocky made a wise choice to leave and now his new solo album looks so good. Obros, I heard are very good with promoting idols.

Rocky's too talented to be just a background for other, not so talented, members of the group who were chosen by Fantagio to be promoted because of their face or height. It's a pity Moonbin didn't do the same when he had a chance, and didn't start his solo career too. They were trained to perform together, their chemistry on a stage was perfect, dancing they were as one. But some years ago Fantagio decided to promote Sanha because of his age and height, so since 2020 they used Bin's skills and talent mainly to teach Sanha and to make him the star instead of to shine himself like Bin deserved.

I am very new to k-pop and am quite foreign to that kind of music. First time I came to know about K-pop was in September recently when moonbin’s ting ting tang dance with sanha popped on my KZbin timeline. He was so good and so impressive that I started looking at him. I was shocked to learn he died in April … then I got very much interested and started watching Astro other videos .. so I don’t know the talks about them in Korea.. But I found while watching their shows and other programs that it was rocky and moonbin who were all rounders and somehow rocky was not exposed well. I am talking as someone who is just new to Astro and watching their old videos. Now I am watching BTS and can make out how much they are promoted by their agency.. If rocky was with BTS, he would have been a superstar.. in fact Astro members individually are better and I would say eun woo is even more good looking than V. But some how Fantagio did not promote them nor gave them songs which will be on international level. MJ is so good both in singing and entertaining. I watched Astro zone and how much I laughed. MJ brought me out of depression.. I am thankful to him for that. But I am not so much entertained by BTS videos. That’s why I feel bad as to how Astro group members lost.. in the end moonbin left this world at such a young age now.. Rocky has left the group. Eun woo is not giving enough time. I don’t think the Astro can survive for long..

The Korean courts have ruled that Artists' agencies have no business questioning nor interpreting negatively any artist personal love life. So it is none of their business if he is dating. They should have either referred the person asking to him or stated flatly they should mind their own business. They should let their lawyers answer that question only, in case he has to sue the person asking about his love life. I never thought when thinking of Astro of Eunwoo NEVER I ONLY thought of Moonbin. He was the star, amazing visual and talent. Moonbin Sanha was a 3 yr step before Moonbin going Solo in 2024 after 2023 tour. Moonbin even said to Sanha, “after the last tour they’re going to be able to do whatever they want”. Moonbin did NOT suicide himself. His body just cut him short because his heart was damaged and he was over trained. Fantagio is probably covering it up because they don’t want the blame for not taking him to hospital, and cancelling the tour and finding out deep of Moonbin’s condition. I think Fantagio paid off the corrupt police coroner to say it was suicide. There is no way Moonbin would have ever stranded Sanha or left his brothers, no way he was too loyal to Astro. Music company & Solo is good. He also need a good management team, manager and team dancer. Many solo artist can't find the financial means to maintain the staff long term and an Endowment Fund is needed. Its not easy and many solo artist can't survive just drop out for good.

Who brought it to attention in the end were not his fans as they respected his privacy but anti fans who were trying for a while to find a reason to create a scandal around him. Its my thought only : it's because Jinjin will join military (enlisting) next year, so he didn't have a lot of choice to do, and his better option is renew the contract.. in the other hand, Rocky has another option, he still have 4 years ahead before enlist in military, and he should choose the best option for his career and himself... Guy's it not all that glamorous. Sanda stole Eunwoo away from Bin. The company had Eunwoo to speak Bin about renew of contract after making him in the mid of preparing the sub unit come back. They had him trap after he worked so hard preparing for the come back and knows that Eunwoo his weakness. Eunwoo promise he will stay by him but bin only realised he was trick into signing after the company made him work nonstop throughout 2022 to cover the company money issue in2021. He only realised he was trick that he was just a tool used by Sanda, Eunwoo and the company on Eunwoo birthday. When he was made to post a video of Binwoo almost kiss on Eunwoo birthday saying the four of them actually celebrate Eunwoo birthday but it was a lie. The ideal of the video was actually from Sanda as shown in the video. Bin only learnt about Eunwoo tricking him with the contract on Eunwoo birthday. To use Binwoo to cover up his current lover Sanda. Sanda drove a distance and surprise Eunwoo who was having a meal with staff from filming. There fans asked where's is Bin because if Sanda shown up impossible Bin not around. So they have Bin upload the video created by Sanda to lie to their fans. The Video which Sanda wanted wasn't recorded on Eunwoo birthday but actually on Sanda birthday. Another clear evidence was when Eunwoo say he bought food because Bin say he haven't eat but it was an excuse. When Bin tried to greet him he avoid Bin touch by showing him the food he bought but when Sanda reached out his hand to greet he immediately reached out and touched his hand the same hand he rejected Bin. On 18.3.23 , Diffusion sub unit Korea concert Eunwoo suprise his lover by suddenly appearing to their concert even without makeup. Just a facemask. He hug Moonbin in a brotherly manner but with Sanda even though with a facemask he kiss Sanda shoulder while hugging him. You can find it on KZbin. The difference is so different from day and night. I would say this is damn cruel for Moonbin when both of them know he still have feelings for Eunwoo that's why he trust him and signed the contract. After that he started acting a little different like broken not only inside but also shown during his concerts. He tried to endure for his fans. You could see his Twitters after that. His last concert he pretty much had it Even though his love for the stage, mentally exhausted, physical and mentally with all the mind game going on and still have to interact with Sanha and the others like nothing happens because of the contract but he still gave his best as much as possible for his fans. He gave whatever energy he could specially to the song desire which was written personally by him for his love (Eunwoo). They made him work nonstop in 2022 with little break but Sanha got to rest and enjoyed life even when the company was suffering loss by end of 2022 because his Eunwoo lover. 😢 A cruel world we live in. They don't deserve Bin love. Eunwoo letter of apology after Bin passing is just crap. Sanda even wrote his letter of appearing weak in front of Bin. When he knows that what Bin actually Bin means was to ask him to stop playing victim to attract Eunwoo attention because only by playing victim can he appear defenceless and needs Eunwoo protection knowing very well Eunwoo doesn't allow Bin to call him hyung. In other words, have Eunwoo spoilt him by playing the younger and victim card. After a period it became a habit of Eunwoo doting on Sanda. Sanda will always look out if Bin and Eunwoo had any interaction even if each of them stations at one end of the corner and would appear unhappy if binwoo seems happy. He either interrupted their conversation or appeared unhappy. Then you will see Eunwoo approaching him with pda. All this while Bin was suffering from backlash. The company tried to limit his popularity during the all night era by making him accept a gay role in 2019 knowing very well gay are not acceptable generally in South Korea. As the higher ups prefer Sanda even though the CEO kept changing they wants the audience to focus on Eunwoo and Sanda but they didn't expect Moonbin would go into hiatus for health reasons from the backlash of playing a gay role while he was still recovering from the previous backlash from Eunwoo jealous fans and Eunwoo haters who took it out on Moonbin. They thought Moonbin would continue with activities for the group and get Sanda the original popularity they planned. They never expected Moonbin going into hiatus would make Astro failed to get their first win. Moonbin distanced himself from Eunwoo due to public views. So much hate on him and backlash. Sanda took this as an opportunity over the years. It was very clear when the company not only allowed the skinship of Sanda and Eunwoo in public but also in MV. While Moonbin was in the process of healing so Moonbin tried to take comfort with MJ and Seungkwan because no one was there for him very 😞 he never stop loving Eunwoo.

I think some ppl need to realise that this is his life. Not in the sense that he can do whatever he wants (which he can) but I mean that this is life and he can’t be out here making decisions for the sake of the other boys careers (although it sounds harsh), he needs to think about his survival and happiness and so should the others…I mean fanmu clearly picks their favs kmttt I’ll be honest I took a step back from K-pop for some years and I heard he left and I thought it was very selfish but honestly even if it is so be it. He's given 14 years of his life to a company who have consistently ignored/neglected him artistically and failed to promote any of his solo activities for the past 2 years (even though his acting roles won AWARDS), and they gave a full tour to BinSan's subunit but not Rocky and JinJin's. And now Fantagio have debuted another 8-member boygroup (which has been in the works for the past 18 months), so it's clear they wouldn't have been paying any more attention to Rocky if he stayed there. I think he wanted to stay with Astro, but under new management (like other idols have done), but Fantagio clarified in their statement that this was not allowed, and that's why he had to leave the group. And what do you mean they "have not managed to make a name for themselves"? Astro consistently have high sales with every new album, and are a HUGE success in across Asia. Just because they didn't boom in the US doesn't mean they aren't well-known.

Rocky DOES want to be with Astro, he made that quite clear (he even kept the star in his IG profile, and wears his Astro friendship ring out in public at all times). But he clearly just couldn't stay under that awful company after the way they've treated them - Fantagio even clarified in their statement that he wasn't allowed to continue as a member of the group under a different label/company/contract (which suggests this is what Rocky initially wanted), and therefore he had to leave the group. Fantagio have been mistreating him for over a year now, it's no surprise he needed to get out of there. And Astro will always be OT6 at heart - even the boys said in their last stage together (where they already would've known Rocky was leaving) "please support each of us, even in our individual projects" - they still love Rocky, and he clearly loves them, but his mental health has to come first. Don't you think the rest of Astro 100% supports that decision too, since they love him? They've been together for so many years (11+ years in Binnie's case), that sort of friendship/love doesn't end because of Fantagio's contract stipulations. Just wait until Rocky's a soloist, I guarantee he'll be doing collabs with the Astro members all the time. 💜

Their relationship seemed close right from the start, they'd already been together for 2 years before debut. Their trainee-day videos/iTeen content shows how close they all were. Rocky has always been a little awkward around other idols because he seems naturally shy/introverted, but with Astro he was a lot more energetic and outgoing because he seemed comfortable to be himself.

Funny you say that considering he was the member with the most VLIVEs and only stopped being extremely active when he had 3 drama at the same time then had to manage still being part of all ASTRO activity including overseas schedules and while preparing for a musical.
