As this device don't have a touch screen, you have to navigate through the app by using the buttons. This is pretty difficult, if it comes to things like aktivate or deactivate the "overlay button" (wich covers way to much if the little display) or to activate or deactivate the PTT-button on the hardware of this ZL10 or ZL 50. Is there any manual or tutorial video available for this?

Have you guys seen the ZL60? Has a 6000mah battery. Not sure if it has the same issues as the ZL10.

It's pretty simple. China doesn't have trademark or copyright laws. In China, all intellectual property is owned by the CCP. So, the instant a product crosses that border, China owns the rights to all aspects of it in terms of it leaving their country in a round trip (aka rebranding and reselling). Which is why you can buy a Chinese manufactured smartphone on Amazon with the same features as the newest iPhone for $150 (yes its a POS, but still has the features). American companies have absolutely no power over what a Chinese business, in China, does with their American brand name and or product.

Yes, but their function may be limited due to the old version of Android this device is running, and the tiny screen. I was able to successfully get Echolink working but I have not tested anything else.

Can the radio talk one to one with another ZL10 radio? Meaning, you don't have to use your phone's app at all? As long as you're using wifi or Data SIM card, then I assume you would be able to to.

You could side load a WiFi PTT app, but you'd need to setup a VPN for more than one location.

It does automatically reconnect to wifi networks. Google voice is non-existant on this device.

It's running a stripped down version of android lolipop, so anything that works on that OS should work here. It might not be very usable though through the small screen and buttons. But as far as being a real android device, it has an IMEI number and does accept a sim card. Just don't count on the sim card to provide data.

Hi I have the same LTE 4G from Kereia. But the LTE radio is identical. MI got stuck on power up with ENCRYPTION UNSECCESSFUL writing. Then it does system reboot for a long time. How can I fix it. Connected to the PC, it connects for 5 seconds and then disconnects in order to manage the TOTAL CONTROLLER with wind10 software

That error indicates a software or hardware error with the storage media on the radio. It's possible that it corrupted itself somehow. If you can manage to access settings, then use the "reset phone" option, it might fix the problem. If you can't even access the menu then you might be out of luck and need a new radio.

@@StarShipAdventures Thanks for the reply. After a long time the radio starts showing the encryption error message. I can click on MENU and I see the settings list, I look for rebbot, I select rebbot, the radio starts but gives the same error. Rename is only active for 10 seconds and then the MENU is also locked

Yes it does detect it and it will probably work, just do not ever connect it to wifi once you've inserted a card. Once it switches to wifi it will never switch back to cell data.

No, it's a Zello radio so it only works for apps like Zello, Echolink, etc. Does not do normal fm modulation.

Absolutely NOT, they rely solely on a WiFi signal. The cellular side of the radio doesn't even function properly, so it would be next to useless outside of cellular coverage.
