I need to recover the pincode so that i can pair a new ecu with the existing immobiliser and cluster in a 2011 mk3 caddy. i have the pincode for the new/ retrofitted bosch edc16 ecu but not the original continental pcr2.1 or cluster The vehicle will run with the edc16 ecu and matching clocks but they are the older style from a mk5 golf. how do i go about extracting the pincode so that i can adapt the new ecu to the caddy.

Hello, i don’t understand what you want to say, my advice make more research. You cannot swap pcr2.1 with bosch, and clusters you need to transnfer immo data its not working only with pin code.

strange to ask to cut ignition on/off when using it in bench. Is that for this reason there is a switch?

To reset ecu / communication. If you don’t perform on/off you cannot read after id or write.. i have tryed without on/off and result was fail…( on some ecu-s not all )

Seems it can't calculate checksum in case we make any modification. How many tricore ecu have you read and how much kt200 can calculate cheksum!?

Hello, Checksum for password is not possible, if is read / write is able to do checksum check from 3:30

Hello, KT200 is capable to read eeprom, flash, security but immo data adaptation for pcr2.1 you need to do it with 3rd party software

I have not did immo off, i have only cloned ( transfered immo data ). but it should work without any issues also immo off from flash.
