California , seems to have an outstanding rate to turn out Winners. Yet no one gets paid and another lawsuit gets filed. I think eventually they will be barred by th American Gaming Association (AGA)

The reason to buy two tickets with the same numbers is to increase your share if, for example, 4 tickets win. Now you've won one half of the jackpot instead of one quarter of same.

Makes sense that he had 2 tickets since he says he played the same numbers for many years, and may have accidentally bought a new ticket while still having an advance play ticket from before that was still valid for the drawing. Makes no sense that he not only didn't notice after seeing the news stories, but waited until too late to claim he lost the other ticket.

it's an open and shut case... if the guy in the news can come up with the actual 2nd ticket or at least provide surveillance video footage of the purchase, the lottery should pay him... if not.... well.. he'll just have to rough it with only 90 million.(yes, I know 90 mil probalby isn't that much money for you guys in California?) :( my mother does the same thing by buying two tickets with identical numbers.... and sometimes two tickets with only the very first digit different.... .... unfortunately, she has not won the jackpot yet. (after 25 years) :( her reasoning is that two tickets increases her chances. don't ask me... I have absolutely no idea how that's even possible... than again, she is a CPA, so....

Maybe he had the computer pick the winning numbers and he bought another ticket which he pick his own number, it is possible, I won twice in a horse race twice I pick the winner the horse that came in first, second and third, straight up then I bought another ticket exacta box it meaning it don't have to be in order, Exacta means you can win even if the horses don't come in Win, Place and Show as long as the horses when, I hope I explain it correctly..😅💰 ...

I'm the guy I know what is going on with the Lottery, I bought the tickets March 19 at Loves which was Mega millions in Altus Oklahoma. They wouldn't let me pick my ticket number. So next day in Oklahoma we can use Phone to pick our own ticket. I got email address and proof . I got the tickets then at Ezgo slash Loves slash Casey's on highway 62 west and East Veterens drive runs south and north. My phone was stolen . I went to get my tickets the store won't allow me nor Google or Verizon had a Motorola 2021 just now get to get me a phone back
