I believe some the clay or stone statues shown may have been living at some time. Let me explain. I was able to view similar statues that were found underneath the pyramid of the sun in Mexico City and one interesting thing I noticed in the small statues it appeared. There was a possibility that they may have been victims of some catastrophe that covered them in mud, soil, water, etc. And overtime fossilized them into the statues that we find today. The most interesting ones are when you look into the eyes, the pupils seem to be hollowed out, which is a common occurrence in living fossilization. How do I know this ? they don’t call me Dr. Stone for nothing
