Thanks, yeah that made a huge difference. If you’re planning to stick with the stock unit, I hear you can replace the oil with a heavier weight oil to help it react better.

Are running the 21 front 18 rear my ktm 1290r is horrible on the street I changed the tires to conti trail attack 3 its still bad horrible head shake 70 mph and iam white knuckeld any suggestions to help

Hey man, yeah I am running the stock size wheels. I had some bad head shake as well, and as I worked through the suspension settings, I was able to tune most of it out. I still get a little bit after about 115. But I hardly ever go that fast either. So my main suggestion would be to set your bike to the stock suspension setting for sport, and then tune the front rebound and compression to get rid of that.

@@Whipville1963 I'll try that to I took it back to ktm and they said it's probably the suspension, Iam having them respring it for my weight but if that does not work I'll definitely try your suggestion thank you

Hi Ethan, i noticed your quickshifter is very quick at low revs. I have a 1290 sas ‘19 and the QS is pretty clunky and slow at lower revs. It’s gets snappy only with wide gas and high revs. Is your QS stock? Or do you have any tip on how to make it snappy across the revs range? Thank you!

Howdy. No modifications to mine. It’s just the stock quick shifter. Mine is also a 2019, so I’m not sure what it could be.. sorry man!

Interesting concept. I will admit that the headlight is my least favorite part of this bike, everything else is spot on. Ideally I would like to put a rally tower on, but no one makes it for the 1290’s

Thanks! Yes they are the upshift graphics, and I love them! Went on super easy, excellent quality, and I’ve had no issues with fading from sunlight either. Very happy overall.

It’s the Rottweiler bar end mirror setup. I think the actual mirror is made by CRG if I remember correctly though.
