Considering selling my gs 1200 lc 2014 and getting one of these bad boys 2017 model pros and cons?

Front rim has an mold error that causes brake discs to warp. Is fixable. Factory battery is crap. Will be replaced under warranty. I bought mine new and have 20k kms on it now.

How was the seating compare to SD and what gloves are you wearing ?

Hey, sorry for the slow response. The gloves are called Five. Not sure of the model name, they may have been discontinued but check out the Website, five-gloves. The seating position is similar, maybe slightly more upright but hardly noticeable.. still comfortable though.

That's what it does. Makes a grown up man laugh like a child. Is it a widow-maker like the 1290R though, or is it a bit more tame?

Its slightly more tame but only slightly, KTM through a glass of water onto a forest fire :)
