I would go up 2 teeth on rear sprocket from the standard one should make good improvement over stock gearing Also 2 stroke performance are working on full kit for 150 tbi will be a massive improvement over stock 150

I ride 2018 ktm freeride 250f and it’s pretty nice. Climb everything like all the others. BUT I do want to replace it with something else… ktm husqy or gasgas… anyway I really like your videos!

If i went 2T I'd be tempted to get the 150. But what would your opinion be if KTM still made the 200, would that be the perfect allround small 2T?

I wonder if they have different flywheel weight ? For example, I’m in the U.S., I have a GasGas EX250F cross country model, which has a smaller stator and flywheel mass than the EC250F that can be had in Europe. Me sad. 😢😀👍

The 150 is a all around really good bike it has the right amount of power and torque maybe not for enduro but very good for all around

EXC and SX difference just in the gas tank capacity, rear wheel and suspension stiffness?

Exc has 6 gears and sx 5 gears. The gearing is different too and the whole motor characteristics. Exc has e start and lightning, sx doesnt

My friend Gaz on the sx has put an 18" rear wheel on, changed gearing and also upgrader to a larger fuel tank to make it better for enduro. But it still has a kickstart and no lights

Plews medium mousse on the 150 and Plews extreme on the 300

1st gear is useless besides dead stop on a hill, definitely like my Husqvarna te150 with linkage a lot more than my buddy’s pds ktm, idk about the tbi model but two stroke performance makes the head and retune for the tpi 150 that make the bike even more enjoyable little more power through the entire range but still smooth and not like an sx model, and as terrible is to say after riding a beta 300 for the first time it’s gonna be hard to choose between te300 to match my 150 or a used beta 300 with some kyb suspension it felt very planted and smooth

If I accidentally bought a TBI KTM I would convert it back to TPI. TBI SUCK, worst fuel economy ever.
