Little bit worried why you were rubbing engine oil in to your top end bearing. And heating the piston even though it all just slides in fine with out needing to be heated :S

When you take the case gasket out , You are taking away .5 mm space between the cases , So more drag on gear shafts and crank

He applied sealant so he didn't lose clearance and most production motors aren't that precise anyway.
