@@SubraMani-ng4ic Bro neengha context purinjikala..RE engine is good until it is under utilized or moderately utilized. Since it is air+oil cooled engine,long drives deteriorates the life of engine.. Liquid cooled engines runs all the day without any stress even if it is ripped off... I am ripping my engine like a hell.. Easily touching 800+ km in a weekend trip.. At the end of the day it smiles like a new born baby.. If u rip Himalayan, like I do, maavu mill seize aagidum..

The best off roader you can choose is a Himalayan, the main reason it's been popular with hard-core off-road riders is because of its long stroke engine and its low end Torque. When you hit any off-road trials the main thing you need is low end Torque to pull all the weight uphill and the rider need not wanna use the clutch and change gears often. So this was my experience riding the Adv390 and Himalayan to urumbikara,Idukki. For Soft off-roads ADV390 is best or if you are a Hard core enduro or off-road enthusiast, then Himalayan will be the better choice ☺️

Short Vs. Long gearing - Short gearing will be favorable for city driving and off roading as engine load will be less, while long gearing for highways. Heavy bikes are better for touring than light bikes ? Hero XPulse would be a much better and cheaper alternative. Bikes with large 21 inch wheels are designed for off roading. For high speed touring smaller wheels are best as larger wheels tend to produce more gyroscopic effects.

Thanks I own 2021 Himalayan & from day one I am facing an anoyining issue on it, the power lags / flautuates while raiding it on 1st & 2nd gears @ low RPM somewhere between 2000 to 3000 but post 3000 RPM its run smoothly, this happens only after the engine gets heated and while holding the accelerator constantly @ same position on low speeds. Is this known issue on every Himalayan 2021 & is there any solution for this? Please suggest bro... Kavaliya irkukku...
