Aren't you supposed to tighten the main steering nut first to compress the bearings and make them properly seated then once it's tight and theres no "play" you tighten up the crown bolts on the fork uppers?

I like being early on channels so when they have big milestones like 100k or 500k I can say I've been here since 150 haha

I started the tear down! Haven't spilt the cases yet, rod was toast, and piston. But everything else in the bottom end isn't looking bad!

Hey Chester I have a 2007 klx 300r will I ever have to rebuild the engine? I give it normal enduro use, almost never at the track.

When it's complete, probably around the $4-$5k range depending on what parts still go on! It's also street legal
