Hi, great video. I’m doing it in two months time. Did you find it easy to find campsites as there doesn’t appear to be many on Google maps on the route. Thanks.
@gnarlybadger6909 ай бұрын
Most campsites we stayed at were off the TET route so it was a case of seeing how well the day was going and we were all feeling along with campsites we used Airbnb. These we could usually find very close to the track and between 3 of us they worked out as cheap as the camping. I think we tried to be as flexible as possible regarding accommodation. Hope this is of some help and you have a brilliant trip 🤘🏻

Yes, there are the occasional tough'ish sections but they are short and almost always have an alternative route most are easily ridable even on a large adventure bike. Thanks Paul, when we docked in Santander we were still in two minds I had planned to do the Pyrenees as one of my mates had not been there. I had both routes in my GPS, my friend was easy as long as we were trail riding so we decided to go Northwest. The route is not difficult there are a couple of tough bits that I wouldn't recommend anyone with a "big bike" to do but easy to navigate around. It was fantastic riding and I'm so glad we went this route, if you go I'm sure you will not regret it. Yes that is the Sotres trail an easy but so so rewarding trail just one of the many highlights of this trip plus a large percentage of this route is trail

We didn't have a distance to cover each day we just rode for as long as we felt like on the day. One day I think we only covered 80 miles another we covered over 200 sometimes the route dictated the distance

The TET route as a high percentage of track/off-road possibly 75/25 with a few tougher sections which were tricky on the 690 many bolder sections which would be a little more tricky in an anticlockwise route we went clockwise going that way we were on the trails within 5 miles of leaving the ferry. All in all a route that would be easy on the 500 we had a long single day on gravel roads but the scenery and views were worth it there was lots of tracks off the TET which we rode on a couple of days off the TET route although the video is just the TET. there are on this route alternative sections along the TET route which are more technical. If you go Matt make sure you include these they were short but real fun. It was a perfect route on the 690
