Couldn't be prouder to become Johorean, soon Iskandar Region in the southernmost part of Johor will become malaysia's second largest metropolis after Klang Valley. not to mention how Johor had the highest FDI surpassing both Selangor & Kuala Lumpur last year in 2022 with a total of RM70Billion investment which indicates foreign investors are now focusing and confident with the potential of Johor and it's bright future. This being the reason for why Anwar Ibrahim is confident to give a very large government funding to Johor also as he wanted to ensure that Johor Bahru will become the second largest financial hub in Malaysia in the upcoming years after Kuala Lumpur. It'll only go up from there and after. *Maju Johor 2030!* ❤️💙

@@babibrain that's what Anwar Ibrahim and the current state government of Johore is trying to do, to ensure Johor Bahru can stand alone as a financial hub and city centre that provides plenty of business and job opportunities on its own without relying too much on Singapore.

Hopefully you are right, with all the investment going in johore will make johor one of the leading states in malaysia and provide more job opportunities for malaysian. MYR value is going down lately, hopefully we can improved.

I'm excited and looking forward to the completion so that I can take the train from KL directly to JB, and then the Tebrau shuttle onwards to Singapore. It'll be a breeze instead of flying, which is also more expensive. Maju Malaysia

ETS will commence operations by end of 2026. The RTS LRT will replace the Tebrau shuttle when operational almost by the same time as ETS.

Besar besar gedabak station keretapi kat Johore ni dah macam saiz mall dah kalau tengok dari atas. Ada station yang panjang giler, memang terbaik la. Alhamdulillah dah hampir siap dah kemudahan dan untuk keselesaan rakyat marhean ni bukan untuk mendooonia. Tak perlu ketapi terpaling cepat didunia kalau rakyat biasa tak mampu nak guna tapi setakat mampu tengok jer buat apa kannn...Sio-sio yo.

Tulah selalu ramai org naik ETS kat Ipoh ni. Org ulang alik kerja KL-Ipoh. Kalau hujung minggu & cuti sekolah selalu penuh

@@amirism91 Betul tu. Tren ETS dari Gemas ke Taiping pun cepat penuh seminggu nak raya Haji ni. Kalau nak balik juga kena lompat2 la, Gemas - KL Sentral, KL Sentral ke destinasi berikutnya. Tips beli tiket awal..jangan tunggu dah sampai KL sentral baru nak pegi kaunter beli.

Kalau laju sgt stesen pun xbyk,yang ada sekarang pun dh ok,laju mcm ecrl pun dh ok,sekurang²nya hampir setiap daerah sepanjang laluan ada stesen.

dulu-dulu pun semua stesen ketapi ada rumah kakitangan. kat stesen batu gajah rumah sebiji-sebiji, besar & kawasan luas. betul-betul seberang stesen. tapi rumah kayu la, dah lebih 70 tahun agaknya. sekarang keretapi tak lalu situ dah. ada jugak yg rumah teres setingkat. semuanya sebelah stesen je. kalau kat KL selalunya staff duduk flat macam flat KTM kat Bangsar tu. so it's a common thing, tak pelik pun.

Semoga Johor terus makmur, lepas ni dah boleh buat sistem commuter pulak untuk bandar JB. Boleh upgrade laluan kerata api kargo port pasir gudang dan tg pelepas jadi laluan komuter. Kalau Gelang patah, Pasir Gudang dan Kulai ada laluan komuter, tak payah lrt pun takpe.

tu rel sebelah stadium ssi boleh upgrade monorel. Keretapi kargo jarang lalu baik hubungkn terus dari stesen kulai bersambung dgn pasir gudang

Nampak gayanya stesen2 kat sebelah selatan lagi hebat dari stesen baru yg ada disebelah utara. Good job KTM.😊 Satu perkara lagi bila ada Electrified Train Service dan keretaapi gerabak lama dah takde,orang sebelah selatan haruslah bersedia dgn harga tambang akan meningkat berkali2 ganda dari harga keretaapi gerabak dgn lokomotiv yg ada sekarang ni. Yang masih murah dan masuk akal cumalah K/api kommuter.

100% kejuruteraan Malaysia? Bukan ke bawah CRCC yang buat - YTL SIPP manage logistik. Kalau yang dari Gemas - Padang Besar bawah plak bawah DRB-Hicom, kemudian UEM ambil alih untuk infrastructure, electrification oleh Mitsui - Siemens - Balfour. Bab pemilikan tu betul 100% Malaysia. Tapi tak kisah pon pemilikan siapa, janji tiket murah & owner pandai jaga duit supaya tak bangkrap/kena bail out guna duit kerajaan. Diorang nak bangga, ikut diorang la. Kita chill je, boleh slow2 senyap2 buat ECRL untuk Malaysia Timur plak, dari Teluk Melano ke Lahad Datu bypass Brunei melalui Nabawan, Bario & Kapit. 160km/j pon dah ok, senang nak mobilize kontena & rakyat di Borneo dengan harga mampu milik. Yang sebelah pesisir Pantai seperti Miri & Bintulu dah ada Pan Borneo, buat jajaran baru kereta api dapat bangunkan kawasan baru yang harga tanah masih murah.

i had seen an almost complete of the new segamat railway station in april as the structure was up. it seems that all the stations along the gemas-jb edtp line are shaping up with a few touch ups. once the double-tracking project is completed, we can go further south from gemas not only to jb but also to singapore via the tebrau shuttle and later the rts line in the future. we also can take the ets trains directly from padang besar and butterworth to jb and vice versa in the future.

Semasa arwah mak msih ada pernah kta kt arwah mak,mak nti kita naik keretapi laju ye..tp arwah mak kta xnk sbb tkut laju sgt😁 arwah mak tk pernah naik keretapi..sbb tu teringin nk bwa,tp Allah lebih syang kn arwah mak🥹😭😭tk sempat arwah mak nk merasa naik keretapi😔😔

Tengok stesen-stesen KTM yang baru ni pun dah rasa besar dan gah walaupun design biasa-biasa saja. Bayangkanlah stesen-stesen HSR yg sepatutnya beberapa tahun lagi nak siap, dengan seni bina dan konsep berlainan setiap stesen. Perghhh tak leh bayang rasa bangga, megah, teruja tu. Tapi tulah, haish. 😌

Tak perlu lagi HSR buat masa ni. HSR hanya menguntungkan Singapura. KTM-EDTP syarikat Malaysia, orang Singapura nak jalan² di Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) akan manfaatkan servis ETS ni dimana mereka akan transit di stesen KTM Johor Bahru terlebih dahulu. Harapnya penumpang KTM-EDTP turut meningkat apabila RTS Link JB-Singapura siap.

HSR Singapore - KL harap dpt diteruskan..akan bwk limpahan ekonomi pd Malaysia dan Singapore..dua2 bandaraya ni merupakan bandaraya termaju diAsean..JB pun akan dpt limpahan kemajuan dari HSR..JB jgk merupakan pusat kewangan ke 2 terbesar diMalaysia slps KL

​​@@jibbjb2147 HSR Singapore - KL lebih menguntungkan Singapura. ETS dah ada (akan beroperasi tak lama lagi), sudah memadai. Dari Singapura naik RTS yang sedang dalam pembinaan ke JB. Dari JB naik ETS yang terintergrasi dengan RTS. Akan datang jika nak juga HSR, juga dari JB yang juga terintergrasi dengan RTS.

@@jibbjb2147 , memang hampir semua stesen di Malaysia, hanya satu di Singapura. Tapi perjanjian perkongsian antara Malaysia dan Singapura berat sebelah, menguntungkan Singapura. 1. Kerana jumlah stesen dan panjang landasan banyak di Malaysia, sepatutnya penguasaan (say) banyak ke Malaysia. Tapi ikut perjanjian 50 -50. 2. Malaysia tidak boleh sesuka hati mengubah atau mempertingkat perkhidmatan. Contohnya seperti nak melanjutkan perkhidmatan ke Ipoh misalnya. 3. Keuntungan dikongsi 50 - 50. 4. Ada ditetapkan keuntungan / pulangan projeksi minimum (minimum projected profit). Jika pulangan projeksi minimum tidak tercapai Malaysia kena top-up supaya Singapura sentiasa dapat untung minimum. Ini yang tak boleh tahan. Akhirnya terpaksa dibatalkan.

Harap ktm tambah tren ETS.. Tak cukup nak menampung keperluan rakyat yg nak guna ets.. Aku kerap ulang alik dari arau ke kl Central.. Tiba nk musim perayaan kalau lambat boking tiket naik keter la pulak.. Org tempah awal 3,4 bulan sebelum tu

Kalau kerajaan Pak Lah tak batalkan projek ni dulu, tahun 2012 dah siap dari JB - Padang Besar. Kos asal RM14 billion.

when I did my practical in JB in 2008 I was hoping that Johor would have a better train system like we have in KL. although the traffic in JB wasn't as bad as KL, I still had to leave home before 7 to get to the office on time. now I see this, I couldn't he happier. can't wait to try when it's finished 😍

Harap KTM pertimbangkan untuk train DMU beroperasi lagi supaya tiket Intercity takdelah mahal sangat. ETS mmg best tapi harganya mahal juga terutama untuk perjalanan keluarga. Kalau stesen Segamat dah siap baguslah terutama untuk student UiTM di Segamat.

Memang sepatutnya kerjaan tak perlu naikan harga. Public transport tu bahagian public utility tak patut profit oriented. Increase frequency, cheaper fare.

Khidmat DMU bagi penumpang bakal dihentikan sebab ia tidak efisien dan tidak kos efektif berbanding dengan ETS.

Harap lepas dah siap penuh EDTP ni, boleh dah pihak berwajib fokus beli lebih banyak set kereta api ETS dan komuter yg terlibat. Skang ramai yg suka naik ETS. Banyak train, boleh wujud lagi banyak services laluan KTM. Potensi besar jd tulang belakang pengangkutan awam moden pantai barat Semenanjung.

Being Johorean (asal BP skrg di Cyberjaya), glad to see the effort in modernizing the infrastructure for the state of Johore is going to materialize soon. My big hope is still to see HSR project to fly. Not now but may be in the future to spur our country economic growth (mid to long term). Target HSR users are business and leisure travelers who bring in investors, and spending their money which will greatly benefit multiple sectors in both countries. KTM EDTP main objective is to ease movement of regional domestic residences (immediate for the public). The development nearby areas are getting is secondary. Clearly two different segments and objectives.

So proud to be Johoreans!! ❤ But, how long it takes from JB to KL? Plus with the 'many' station.... And how long the train will stop at each location? 😮 Ps.... Still sad the HSR has been cancelled, hope can resume back .

HSR cancellation is the result of political interference in public transportation, which REALLY A PAIN IN THE ASS.

Express services would probably be : JBSentral - KempasBaru - Kulai - Kluang - Segamat - Gemas - Seremban - KLSentral No such thing as direct JBSentral to KLSentral trip for KTM ETS.

Aku just terfikir...nnti Antara Stesen Kulai hingga ke Jb Sentral ade tak halt atau stesen² kcik untuk Komuter, xperlu nk ke stesen Utama jauh kalau nak naik komuter Kalau ada mmg terbaik,yg krja SG ramai xyah parking moto kt Jb sentral, yg mana duduk dekat dengan jalur ni, terus naik Komuter smpai ke Jb sentral 👍

@@ZafranSuhaimy-zz8li Bagi aku, mcm x convienient/logik sbb commuter serve kawasan metropolitan yang berhampiran je. Jarak Tampin/Pulau Sebang turun sampai ke JB Sentral dah nak dekat 200 km lebih. Negeri Sembilan lebih hampir dgn Lembah Klang/Greater KL berbanding dgn Iskandar Malaysia.

Mungkin akan buat komuter antara Kluang & JB utk jarak yg lebih dekat. Selain dr ETS yg lebih kpd jarak jauh.

Any expected date of completion? A train to take directly to KL after the Tebrau shuttle would entice Singaporeans away from flights (and maybe cars) with a cheaper, and much less carbon-emitting option! I'm all for this!

The project's completion target is currently April 2025. But ETS svcs will likely only commence in 2026 after the arrival & testing of the new ETS trains.

Should put priority to finish the track laying and start running of ETS from Gemas to JB first, the other stations can build slowly, really don’t understand why need to delay another 2 years till 2025.

Not possible as the electric cables have to run through the new stations to JB. As long as other stations are not ready, the cables cannot be installed. And hence no ETS svc to JB can be ready.

@@jibbjb2147s a Johorean i don't want HSR to happen. it'll only benefit both singapore and kuala lumpur only on the long run, dan akan membuang fungsi Johor sebagai negeri utama perantara Malaysia dan Singapura. because imagine, why would you need JB if Singaporeans can come to KL in just 1 hour train? exactly. hancur fungsi Johor. hence, I really hope HSR to not happen.

@@jibbjb2147xcept if HSR are only from Kuala Lumpur to Iskandar Puteri, and doesnt directly connect to Singapore. So like it or not, everyone either they want to go to KL or Singapore, they have no option but to stop and transit somewhere in Johor.

This Gemas- JB electrified double tracking rail line ( only 197 km) was supposed to be completed in June 2023. It started in 2015 - 8 years ago! When will the Rakyat have to wait some more!

Actually it only started in 2016. 2015 was the viewing of public exhibitions only. 2016 was the awarding of construction contracts as well as the clearing of trees for the construction of the route/pathways for construction vehicles & offices. Construction of the stations & tracks only began in 2018.

Tunggulah sehingga projek itu siap. Kalo dah siap dan ETS dah boleh beroperasi di laluan Gemas ke Johor Bahru, boleh aje naik tren ETS dari JB ke utara tanpa perlu tukar tren di Gemas lagi.

Kan negara kita dilanda pandemik Covid 19, lagipun Projek itu dihentikan sementara ketika PKP 1.0 dan projek itu kembali diterus apabila masuk ke tempoh PKPB 1.0 dan kehadiran pekerja semasa dibawah tempoh PKPB itu juga tidak dibenarkan 100%. Jadi projek itu jadi slow kerana pandemik Covid 19 dan yang kedua ialah bergantung pada keadaan cuaca yang tidak menentu seperti hujan lebat dan ribut petir.

@@AZRI135 saya kurang bersetuju dengan alasan pandemic cov-19. Di bandar yang lebih sesak, lebih padat bilangan penduduknya seperti KL - Selangor - Putrajaya (bilangan kes cov-19 tertinggi dicatatkan) misalnya, beberapa projek besar berjaya disiapkan.

@@MuhamadFirdaus kalo ko kurang setuju itu ko punya pasal lah. Tak payahlah nak samakan tempat ko dengan kawasan projek EDTP ni. Habis beberapa ramai pekerja kontraktor yang terlibat dalam projek EDTP yang kena Covid 19, beberapa ramai yang tidak boleh kerja disebabkan kena kuarantin akibat jangkitan Covid 19. Habis kalo ramai pekerja kontraktor tersebut kena kuarantin kerana kontak rapat, ada yang dijangkiti virus tersebut ko ingat kerja boleh siap dengan cepat ke? Kalo projek itu berjalan semasa dibawah tempoh PKPB dan PKPP pun hanya slow je sebab SOP kehadiran ketika itu tak boleh 100%.

Sebagai penduduk area labis dan dalam banyak-banyak stesen,aku rasa stesen labis paling lambat progress. Mula awal sebelum covid tapi stesen segamat yang 90% dah nak siap. Stesen comel je tak adalah besar sangat atau ada puaka yang buat delay..😅
