Nice video! Do you use the extreme (gold insert) S3? How is the bike compared to stock with it? Also does the flywheel weight feel good? Do you recommend vs stock?

Thanks. New S3 head doesn’t have inserts … mine is enduro version. Compared to the stock one .. engine feels stable with more power and torque in low to mid range , also feels more linear compared to stock one . About flywheel gain momentum on all range of rpms , for me engine is better on low and high end . In low end feels like can’t stop and when you hit something on wrong way the momentum keep working for you ( I think what I want to explain) on other side have small disadvantages also . Like you know with S3 head bike turns less aggressive and with flywheel more . That things mean you have to predict early when to hit the gas 😃 on fast trail sections !

Yes totally understand the hesitation you are reporting from the flywheel weight, it makes sense but as I understand you like it for tighter sections right? Have you tested the 160gr weight also? Also on the enduro s3 head, you are totally right S3 have rebranded everything now and sells as complete kits. There are three labelled as enduro heads (extrem, power and mountain) with insert colours gold, red and black respectively. Is the one you are using in your test the extrem yellow/gold colour ring?

No problem 😉. My s3 head is extreme version but I don’t remember the color of ring. About flywheel weight mod I like almost everywhere because for example when you are not confidence and turn off the gas for seconds the momentum will keep fights for you . Which means with few words help you almost everywhere. My observations are that in speedy downhill trails you have to be more predictable with clutch and gas ,because when you see fallen tree you need to be little more aggressive from usual!

@@rbenduro6513 much appreciate your feedback, thank you! I understand what you say, I have already the head and wait to install it and I was wandering what weight to order. I know that fast and pro riders use 160gr but I’m not riding even close to their level so maybe it’s really much more beneficial to get the heavy fww. I already did the same mods to my trial bike and it’s really helped a lot (again you need to be more aggressive because of this mod when something urgent pops up) ! Thanks again and keep riding 💪
