KTM X-Bow GTX with 530HP Audi 5-Cylinder Turbo Engine! - Full Carbon Track MONSTER!

This video is about three KTM X-Bow GTX I've filmed during the 24H Series at Mugello Circuit.
These full carbon race cars, built by REITER Engineering, weigh only 1,048kg and they are powered by an Audi 2.5-litre turbocharged 5-cylinder engine producing 530HP and 650Nm of torque (for the GT2 version the engine delivers 600HP and 720Nm of torque).

@@user-ek9ov9xy5z I own a rs3 (2016 steelblock engine) 130.000km now. do oil change at least every 10.000km (5w40), gearbox/haldex every 30.000. seems pretty reliable so far.

Audi's in-line 5's are the best sounding of all time. And the only ones that sound like a v10.. let alone an audi/lambo v10🙌. Sounds better & more unique than any 4 or 6 cylinder.. and with slight mods (or in the KTM's case, stock) their turbo 2.5L can make damn-good power & torque. I want😁

I could see the future of supercars and hypercars being increasingly electric but with the addition of an inline 5 to meet emissions while still giving a dulcet exhaust note.

I would love to see this happen. They literally sound so damn good, even turbocharged. Sounds just as good as a v10 imo. And I dont get why companies dont just decrease displacement, while keeping 8, 10, 12 cylinders? Wouldnt you get the same mpg's from a boosted 3.5L v8 vs. a boosted 3.5L v6 if all else is the same between them??
