I came to Kenya in late 2012. I remember Martha Karua running for president vowing to fight corruption! She was let down completely by voters!

Hon Martha, address the caning in schools to be relevant as a leader. Laws are principally intended to protect the weak and vulnerable in society. Any body is aware it is happening and the children dont like it. No one enjoys being hit! Who would love to be lashed like a slave in the plantations back then.

The challenge of democracy is the buck stops with the voter. The majority of Gen Z did NOT vote because they were not old enough. So it is us the older Kenyans who voted for Ruto. If you listen to her explain what happened in 2007, you would not be saying that.Kalonzo had joined hands with Kibaki and all votes of wiper added to Kibaki.So the win.In the talks which Ruto+Raila was in one camp, they were offered a recount but since they knew they can't win, they opted for nusu mkate!
