I think it’s time this celebrations go full digital where the president wakes up in a boxer grabs a shirt and a tie and a coat and address the most beloved citizen of Kenya through a digital platform and save the tax payers massive millions of dollars used in preparation and celebrations. The money can be used for other important projects or to support hospitals etc so that even the poor people can afford treatment back home while the rich and politicians seeks medical attention abroad even when it’s just a simple flu.
