I knew Dre personally about 6-7 years back at my university where he would lay low. People tripping saying he was a rapper. Folks was definitely about that shit. I learned one thing from him I will never forget, real gangstas/steppers don’t ever have to talk how they are gangsta. Or try to act all tough and shit. Dre was funny and cool. He only got on that when the situation called for it. I remember in college he finessed this country ass state cop with a fake ass ID and name. We got pulled over like 7 deep in a coupe during Spring Break. He had warrants and shit but he somehow he got out of it LOL. Cool dude honestly not just a monster as the internet paints em to be. We weren’t close or nothing but definitely knew each other. RIP Gangsta.

Ok here's the deal from a Chicagoan whose been released from Cook county. First when you get released your in Latin Kings neighborhood and they hunt the county, they stop releasing guys after 9pm because this happened before a number of times. Another thing guys go to court together and are in holding together so people will know you post bond, it takes about 2 or 3 hours to process out and the county is pretty much on the south west side of Chicago and Dre from the Eastside so it gave the hitters time to go south west and set up. He could of been on deck with opps which is normal and Dre wasn't no how so he could of told on his self. It's a lot of angles shit could have happened over
