I just changed the Vtec to 5,000 for the first time, I've done about a half dozen tunes so we'll see how this goes and if I blow up my car. It was crazy b/c after finishing the reflash, I had four codes trip for the lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control, but after turning the car off and back on again, they went away whew .... don't need more stress in my life right now

I had a hard time seeing what values you actually use man would you be able to make a more detailed video for pop tune? Would this be the same for my 2018 1.5? I have it heavily modified so my car is ready for a pop tune but just want to make sure I do the right values. Also can you make a sound clip video of drive bys with the pop tune?

TheRealTruman idk how the burbles would work for a cvt because when you let off the throttle on a manual, it’ll stay at that RPM & go down from there, it might work for you if you use paddle shifters

Honda 4K I’m going to try to 400 in first 3 gears like you had but what should I set my top settings at right now they are 1500 1500 and then 5300 5300 5300? I can hear it with the auto for you it’s when you shift for me it’s when I let off the gas decelerating. I also set my rev limits lower since I have a smaller engine mine are 6999 and 6499

TheRealTruman leave them how they are & see if it’s good or not, you don’t wanna change too much at one time, it’s easier to do things one at a time to dial it in

Dash lights and warning lights are still on after flashing it. I’ve driven it over 50 miles and they’re on. I’ve reflashed it and they’re still on when I turn the car back off and on. I’ve reverted to factory tune then reflashing it again to stage 2 and when I turn off the car and turn on again the lights are still on. Any advice? Any suggestions please let me know.

Alex Ross u have to turn off the codes for o2 sensors & any cat code, it should only be one but u can turn off any code

@@honda4k I did several times clear the code and it still comes back my friend said I eat a custom tune because it's going to keep on coming back because he had one when he was running e35 with a Type R Turbo

@@honda4k when I went in my settings it said clear coat I pushed it a clear the code and it comes back after maybe 15 miles of driving I clear this code for times already and like I said my friend said it needs a custom tune gets his to the same thing I find that hard to believe because the KZbin channel it shows people clearing the O2 sensor code and driving and not coming back

What spark plugs do you use? I am in Ghana west Africa and I have the same car. But it’s always hot so I was wondering the best spark plugs for the tune. I run the k tuner as well

Can you still do the psi change if you have a cat? I'm running a PRL front and catted downpipe... 1.5 manual. Also cold air intake from AEM

If you have a high flow cat then you should be able to safely, if you have a stock cat it could damage the cat & make it glow red if too much PSI is produced

The turbo will go before your motor or trans, i wouldn’t worry about it too much, I’ve been pushing 21 psi for a couple years now, might go up a couple PSI after I put on my flex fuel kit

Yes it is bad for your car, it’s unburned fuel going onto it & it would melt it

It makes a major difference, RPMs drop so much quicker than stock

It is honestly a completely different car when you’re on stage 2. You definitely need the supporting mods for the tune or it won’t perform as it should

hi everyone so i’m using ktuner on my third car it’s a v2 so touchscreen. i’ve never had issues with it but for some reason i can download the tune to the unit and then i flash it to the car but nothing actually happens. it says flash successful but the car is the same as before. i’ve updated both the software and the unit and tried multiple times. PLS HELP

Also bro, for the Burble, is that the rev-limits and the fuel cut delays and tps? Honestly this video is one of the only ones out there that goes through all these detailed one, and me personally I'm not looking for burble but I do want to get more power/performance, so if I ignore the burble parts of your tune, I'd still get more power via the boost by gear, correct?

If you run max boost you will make more power but will most likely spin tires, boost by gear it so lower boost in the first couple gears so you don’t spin tires & accelerate faster technically

Hey man! Thanks for your tutorial. Does your car still pop above 4k rpm? For some reason my car completely cuts fuel right at 4k rpm and above. Can't seem to figure out what setting prevents this. Your help is much appreciated

I used to have it configured to where it would pop on decel under 4k RPM in 1st 2nd & 3rd gear so it wouldn’t get annoying while hw driving. You should be able to raise the value above 4k but it’ll consume a lot of gas

I believe it’s the TPS & min rpm, I haven’t messed with my tune in almost 2 years so it’s hard to remember without looking at the computer

No u just need to upload the tune you want & once it’s uploaded, you can disconnect the OBD2 plug & you’ll be tuned

I believe the only parameters that can be adjusted with VTEC is the RPM in which it engages, stock is 5500 I believe, I’m not too sure it’s been a while but I lowered mine to 5k. However for these motors VTEC is only applied to exhaust cam

Can you make transmission shift quicker especially when using paddle shifters?

That I’m not sure about, I have the 6 speed so I don’t need to fiddle with shift points or fast shifting. Dino tuning would get you the best results. I do have rev hang disabled however.
